The department of mechanical, civil and computer science engineering got this prestigious accreditation valid till 2027
The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Washington Accord was established in the year 1994 under Section 10 (u) of AICTE Act in order to assess the qualitative competence of programs offered by Technical Institutions from Diploma to Post graduate level in Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy & Architecture, etc. NBA accredits programs and not the institutions. In the year 2010, NBA became autonomous with the objective of assurance of quality and relevance of technical education through accreditation of programs. In the year 2013, Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Rules of NBA were amended to make it completely independent administratively as well as financially.
Accreditation is a process of quality assurance and improvement, whereby a program is critically appraised to verify that the program continues to meet and / or exceeds the norms and standards prescribed by the regulatory authority from time to time.
NBA does not accredit institutions, instead, it accredits the programs offered by technical / professional institutions which have graduated at least two batches

Chicago in glorious detail. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen: enough said. www.esa.int/ESA_Multimedia/Images/2021/09/Chicago_creation Here’s a post I have wanted to do for a long time, and a perfect Sunday post. Growing up in small-town Normandy, my geography (and really all of my knowledge) of the United States originally came from… basketball and the NBA. I’ll spare you how starved of images and information we were, but I soon knew well all the cities that had a team, and totally ignored all the others, no matter big or small, east or west. I’ve travelled to most of them since, but flying in space is a good way for me to reconcile actual geography with the NBA map I’ve always had in mind, where San Antonio is just as big as LA, and Chicago bigger than New York City… ;)

I was supposed watch the Laker game at my friend's house last night but, after a crap day at work, I was in such a foul mood that I knew I wasn't fit for company. I went home to decompress and watch the game with the turtles instead.
It was a good decision, except that Miles here is a big Dwight Howard fan. Traitor.

NBA Taipei 2009
