It’s not the fear of losing them that scares us,

it’s that we have given them so many of our pieces that we fear losing ourselves when they are gone.

Continuing my Christmas series with some more gifts and purchases.

If you find this scene interesting or appealing to you, then you are like me. We are all “rule-breakers” at the bottom of our hearts.

I am naughty boy in photography i.e. trying to break all the golden rules all the time. In real life, I follow the parking rules all the time. :o(

I don’t want to get towed away or penalty ticket.

Happy rule-breaking Tuesday!!

”When you shoot to get the approval of someone else, you will always be evaluating what you see with your audience in mind, not experiencing the brilliance of your own perceptions.” – Andy Karr and Michael Wood

Not sure what the big deal was, it was just some junk 1950's measuring jug that my water somehow tasted better in so you let me use to drink out of.

A chap has to have a bit of a run around sometimes, so its not my fault if it accidentally got knocked off the counter. I'm a cat!

Made a hell of a noise and smashed into a thousand pieces, and I took off because I thought I'd get yelled at. But this silence of yours is actually worse.

And as for not allowing me into the kitchen until you'd swept, hoovered and mopped up, what about my food? Its been at least 20 minutes. When can I have that back. Eh?...

The real attractions of the area of Vang Vieng are the sceneries, steer limestone cliffs, rice paddies and cascading rivers. On deviously swift streams, nimble families leave for distant fields never seen by infrequent visitors. Here and there, other natives, singly or in pairs, bathe quietly in waist-deep water near tilting, tree-shaded banks. In Laos, a significant number of Hmong people live in the mountainous regions. The Hmong support themselves with their small vegetable gardens here along various rivers in the forestry nearby Vang Vieng.

I think the best way to explore Laos is by bicycle. But to visit the Khan Cave we had to continue by feet. The 2 km stream bed walk was rough and at times shady. But the forestry scenery and the green paddy fields were so beautiful. Along the way we met these friendly boys sitting on the fence of a paddy field.

The terms Hmong and Mong both refer to an Asian ethnic group in the mountainous regions of southern China. There, they remain one of the largest sub-groups in the Miao minzu. Beginning in the 18th century, Hmong groups began a gradual southward migration due to political unrest and to find more arable land. As a result, Hmong currently also live in several countries in Southeast Asia, including northern Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar-Burma.

Our kitty Frodo really enjoys his afternoon naps on his window seat when the sunshine comes through the window!

So why does little Stinker keep trying to escape any time he sees an opening when a door isn't closed fast enough?

He escaped yesterday morning for about 20 minutes when it was still chilly and rainy. About two minutes into his freedom he met one of the neighbors cats and although we didn't see them fighting we heard it. It sounded like mostly yowling, angry yowling and the other cat ran off when we approached hoping to retrieve him. He wasn't having it and took off in the other direction, wanting to enjoy his freedom. But soon he realized it was chilly, rainy and there were no treats to be had so he came back home.

I let Tre out on the forbidden front porch again. ( Yep , who ever said it, i think Gabby , Tre now looks at the front door to go out.... given an inch takes a mile. :P i was warned. hehe) He went into his crazy psychotic roll . I was lucky to catch one decent photo. LOL! Then he made a dash for the neighbors and back inside we went. ;)

I am a bit slow on commenting due to my back going out again. MRI Showed desiccation of disk btwn L4-L5....w/ herniation. suggestion is fixation surgery.. tho i don't know.. thinking about it. :( Gonna get another opinion , perhaps 2 more if ins. allows for it. Coz i also think it should be the last option. Ty to everyone for giving their insight on the matter. Really helps!!! xx

Located on the north bank of the Tigris, the mausoleum with its turquoise tiled exterior is the tomb of Zeynel Bey. the eldest son of the Turkmen Uzun Hasan, The tomb was designed and built by the architect Pir Hasan, after Zeynel Bey had fallen in battle in CE 1473.

This area has now been submerged by the waters of the Ilisu dam project, and the tomb has been moved elsewhere.

This is a Kurdish populated region. In 2002, there were unmarked sanctions-busting oil tankers going from Iraq to Turkey and back again, all the time on the bridge over the Tigris at Hasankeyf. Whenever one tanker vanished on the far side, another one would immediately appear from the near side.

As it looks like travel plans will be few and far between for the foreseeable future, I thought I'd cheer myself up by creating a series of revisited photographs from previous travels.

I is very hot and tired, Mum says I was very naughty but I had a lot of fun! While she was on her knees looking at the flowers with that black box of hers, I was running about chasing the pheasants in the wood. I did hear Mum shouting for me, but I was too busy to be good. Oh dear, now I'm for it! Wuff Dodgie

These two lovely ladies were looking after us on the Oman Airways flight from Salalah to Muscat. We had just arrived in Muscat, when I asked to take a shot of them ; they happily agreed. After I`d taken this image & most passengers had left the plane, I needed a few moments to find the lens cap. By then the relay bus had departed , but the ladies said it was no problem, I could travel with them .However I was not allowed to by some "jobsworth" person , nor was I allowed to walk the ca. hundred metres to the terminal . So I just had to wait for the bus to return to pick up just me !!!! When I made it into the terminal my annoyed/embarrassed wife gave me a good ticking off.

He does not pose to me. Rarely looks at me when I have camera pointed at him.

Big challenge to get a good photo of him.

But... he voluntarily smile at other people in the road. Simply smiles at them, calls them draws their attention. Happily poses to them. Look at the below pics... Finally he exchanged his umbrella for a balloon with the girl ;-) Naughty boy he is. My 15 months old son - Akhil Alagar

There are so many saying as ~When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself” ~ or never judge the artwork that if you don't understand..

OK, I won't say a thing .Here is a wrinkly boy who is almost as big as 3 stories building (8.5 meters high) tall, about a half ton heavy, and urinating in the city .. We all flog to take photographs and he seems so embarrassed.

I think he knew that public urination is forbidden but he didn't allow his neediness to be interrupted by overly judgmental people.

You could see him at Mischievous 8.5 metric Bad Bad Boy sculpture erected in front of Verkkokauppa.com at Jätkäsaari mega store untill this year end. Come visit to Finland and wear the smile on your faces... Created by Tommi Toija (born 1974).
