looking the sky , i thought my drive shall be unsuccessful ,
but arrived in Chambord , the atmosphere was pure ,
clear, the light smooth , and the clouds heavy but lightful-
GAMBIA TOUR. Strongly associated with forest thickets and dense vegetation, feeding from the ground keeping in the dark shady spots, making a good image very difficult, this was the best of very many shots, and was pushing my luck at 1/45 shutter speed, but got lucky!. They seem to bounce along, only making very short flights. They are beautiful just the same.

NO FAVE WITHOUT COMMENT PLEASE! // DISTINCTIVE FINCH, and a familiar garden resident in many parts of the U.K. The greenfinch has a relatively large, pinkish and conical bill. In all plumages, the yellowish patch on the wings- seen as a yellow bar on the closed wing. Greenfinches are associated with parks, gardens and hedgerows, resident all year round, A beautiful bird that is in charge, when it gets to the feeder, excluding smaller species.

BREEDING MALE, long tailed, vividly metallic green, with red an yellow patch on lower breast. Found in a wide range of habitats, normally in pairs, the female being very drab matt grey. A joy to see, move very fast, hard to keep in focus.

as my old good 450d has "been aksing me* to put it on the shelf :o) - seems like repair may be over the current camera value. It still works from time to time but does not want to focus properly anymore.... well nothing lasts eternally.
Like a game show host, This Acorn Woodpecker would pop up for a few seconds, then drop back down again...
