Here is a place where I am always to relax.

As I captured several moments here, this image I decided to do in infrared. The moment was captured at noon because the heat was intense.

Happy Sunday!!!

The beauty of nature is a joy for ever ;-))

The beauty of nature.

With help of some friends this damselfy is identified as a Nehalennia speciosa - Pygmy Damselfly or a Chalcolestes viridis.

An elegant bird with a strikingly long tail that it continually pumps up and down. The Grey Wagtail is invariably associated with flowing fresh water and often perches on mid-stream boulders.

OUR ANNUAL trip to The Gambia in Feb has been cancelled by the agent, the third holiday lost to the Covid epidemic.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2021.

=============================================

Mine is. of course, seeing the back of Covid19.

Seeing family and Grandchildren.

Being able to sing and praise the LORD in church

Seeing people smile, not hiding behind a mask.

Going on holiday.

Open nature reserves and hides.

Enjoying a pint in a pub. And a good curry in an Indian Restaurant

WHATEVER you wish, I hope it is so !!!

DISTINCTIVE water bird, the largest in he region, when swimming the neck is held in a elegant curve. FAMILY gruops with parents are often seen. They mate for life.

TRY TO POST all British birds seen, but have not put up a SWAN for years, shame on me. Seen at Stodmarsh nature reserve Kent.

A BULKY, broad -winged raptor , medium sized bird of prey, and still not that many in the south-east area of Kent. A pure joy to see coming of the fields at Elmley Nature Reserve, the brown and black blobs on the ground are cows!!

Nature is not only all that is visible to the eye... it also includes the inner pictures of the soul.

This magnificent flambé had the courtesy to come and forage on our lavenders last week, in fact they were 2 but the other one had lost one of its tails, this one is intact for the moment, I hope they will come again.

With a maximum wingspan of 8 cm, the flambé is a cream-colored butterfly with large black stripes. Its tails are black and the tips of its hind wings have blue lunules and red spots. It lives in plains and orchards up to 2000 m between May and August.

Thanks a lot dear friends for your visits, kind comments, awards, invites, and faves.

Wish you all a nice week❤️

It is in the the still silence of nature where one will find true bliss.

A walk along the oceans shore. The late afternoon world is full of colors, mostly shades of red and gold. The ocean is loud, intense and the power is unmistakable. The wildlife hunts and gains power from the sounds and sights. It is entertainment only nature can provide.`125

I used to think the moon followed me

New moon or old. waxing and waning

Flickering though soft clouds

Circling the sky upwards,

Shining the path where ever i went

The moon lit my laughter

And also my tears

It knew many secrets

To which no one else

Would ever know

This wondrous glow

I called it Harvey's moon

Distant luminous ageless

Forever there..

Nature

Nature, mountains, lakes, rivers, flowers, there is nothing so wonderful and close to happiness than to contemplate the places that nature offers us, and in addition to enjoying them, keep those images in my old camera to remember them again when I'm no longer there, where the silence was heard

This is one of the places I go to regularly, it is located in the province of Zamora, and it is a Biosphere Reserve, Parque de las Lagunas de Sanabria.

A special time of day, when you get some beautiful light as the sun rises illuminating the wet sand at Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland.

There are painters who paint the sun like a yellow spot, but there are others who, thanks to their art and intelligence, turn a yellow spot into the sun. (Pablo Picasso)
