In a previous stickit I added some content with a number of tasks. Mixing formatting and data and instructions fails.
For example:
This fails: '* ring Fred next week on thursday at 12 am'
This works: 'ring Fred next week on thursday at 12 am'
So why didn't my todo task(s) work in the example I created? Well it seems you cant add a todo task can't have a '*' in front. That is you can't add a todo task to a list. Sort of quirky but reasonable. But did the todo appear in the calander? Checking the calendar this example works.
Lets try another example.

WTF. Why do applications insist on adding a confirmation?
It only takes the user one time to delete the stuff they want to learn this. Repeat after me, dialogs suck!

Now things are a bit better. This is entering the previous text. But note I cannot get inline images to work in this particular stickit. I then went to the help page & inline images work there so there is a bug somewhere in the markup interpretation.
But for reasons I cannot understand I have not been able to:
* create a hyperlinked image. (markdown problem)
* bold text (markdown problem)
* add inline image (stickit engine - sort of works)
* see that I added user Bignose or note (failed - stickit engine)
* add approximate date into cal (sticket engine)
