It was a pleasure to photograph this Female Great Blue Heron in her natural habitat and to bear witness to her daily behaviors. This is where I will leave her for now as I'm off to search for other wildlife to photograph.

Geranium

The Ayres Natural Bridge is a rare geological masterpiece tucked away in a scenic red-rock canyon in Converse County, Wyoming. It is widely regarded as one of only a small handful of natural bridges in the US that still features a continuous stream- LaPrele Creek, which flows directly beneath its arch.

Over millions of years, a bend in the creek wore down a wall of solid Madison limestone and Casper Formation sandstone. The stream eventually altered its course straight through the rock, leaving behind a massive stone arch measuring roughly 100 feet long and suspended 30 to 50 feet over the water.
