A few years ago, in December 2015, we adopted Nano.

Never work with animals or children, they said... but they didnt have Azizi. From a very young age, he knows to pose when I have my camera. He gives me several seconds rather than nano seconds (the typical behaviours of my other Lesser Tenrecs!!). But I guess it means that of my 6 Tenrecs, I bring him out to photograph the most!!
This image made it as my choice of acrylic for my bathroom. Hope you like it. Tomorrow I will talk about how they really prefer to bathe!! (no water came into contact with my beautiful boy).
Started out as an old pick I took of glass science beakers. Never did anything with it, just sat in the B stack...until tonight. Several steps back it started to remind me of the Nano World in Antman...ran with it and this is the result.
Did a lot of stacking in Photoshop. Stacked just sections of color and textures. Ran the whole thing thru Lightroom and that helped a ton for the dark areas.

Left in the background is the Triglav massif. In the opposite direction we saw far into the Croatia - I guess even the Velebit massif.

The northern branch of the Dinaric Alps flows a short distance from the Adriatic in both Croatia and Slovenia and divides the calm and cold Danube plains in the Interior, from the milder windy coastal side that descends towards the Adriatic.
The Postojnska Vrata/Bora Gate, here taken perpendicularly, represents a saddle between the Karst-Dinaric groups of Javornikì and Nanos, where the currents, coming from the interior are channeled and strengthened, generating the local orographic wind called Bora(I)/Burja(SLO)/Bura(HR), which then spreads towards the coastline, progressively stronger, gusty, irregular, drier... and directly affects the City of Trieste, in Italy and its Gulf, i.e. an area where this wind reaches some of the strongest gusts of the entire North-Eastern Adriatic coast (especially in Croatia) which is affected by this wind.
The Postojna Gate is the lowest pass (606-610m a.s.l.) of all the northern Dinarides and this favors the channeling of cold and heavy masses from the interior and their subsequent outflow.
In this photo the Bora/Burja is not blowing and the inland seafog do not go over the saddle.
Nanos is a very panoramic massif in the border of Littoral and Central Slovenia. This is the view due NE.

The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.

"Monsieur Nano a regard de braise. De près ou de loin, il prend ses aises. Monsieur Nano a les yeux couleur de besoin. Il attend, il espère. En uniforme de ville dans la chaumière, Monsieur Nano pose avec bonnes manières. De son profil, il fait figure de style. Dans toute son élégance, il porte la cravate de convenance. Et comme au même feu, il retourne mon cœur comme à une fête pour tous les deux..." (Marlène Leblanc)
