I needed a certain kind of photo for my blog and ended up with this. Kind of happy with the outcome.
Wings outstretched...tail down with webbed feet secured...nailed it as a perfect landing.The wake is also perfecto !

Despite the fact it looks posed it was in fact how I actually found this scene.
The roofing nail was in this position on a well weathered outdoor wooden work bench and with the great contrast it created it was too tempting to pass it up.
