Built in 1891 by Thomas Catron (lawyer, banker, politician), this Italian-style structure replaced the James Johnson Building which was built in 1847 and was a Santa Fe Trail landmark until the Trail ceased operating as a wagon train trail. The railroad replaced that.
The building sits at the northeast corner of the old Santa Fe Plaza.
The sky shown here was not replaced. These clouds were right there at the moment I took the photo. The sky was the main reason I took it.

It's a quiet Sunday morning in December, around 10 am, I had been awake for a few hours, I looked out the window to see what the day looked like, when I saw a mixture of fog and interesting sunshine I thought, you should go out with the camera..... so I did, with little to do, I went into "work" mode and took a walk among these beautiful trees ... that soft side light, coming through a fine mist, presented a wonderful scene before me ...
Many times, photography does not do justice to the reality of what you see, this is the most difficult and complicated part, trying to reflect in the best way, what my eyes see through the viewfinder ... I hope I succeeded and not disappoint mother nature!

This juvenile Blue Heron was out practicing his/her fishing...so focused that it didn't realize that it had waded up to about 10-20 feet from me standing in plain sight. As usual, I had my 100mm/f2.8 macro
