altreforme, the sole Italian design brand producing furniture pieces and complements besides pop-original accessories in aluminium, took part to Salone del Mobile di Milano showing its most representative collections.

The international event, reference annual stage in the field of furniture and design, stands, by the way, as the perfect scenery for its 10th-anniversary-celebration, which retraced the path walked so far through the projects which have clearly marked its identity along the way.

Setting: the ideal room of a boutique; main character: aluminium, the most versatile material that, thanks to the incomparable know how of the company masters, showed its extraordinary attitude to be molded into new and unexpected creations – furniture, objects, complements, lighting projects – boldly combined with surprising colors.

A sweet love story has inspired this wonderful project: the beautiful princess Mata conquers the proud warrior Grifo. These cabinets by altreforme are a tribute to this sweet girl and to her mate, said to have founded Messina city in Sicily.

During the Design Miami/ and Art Basel Miami Beach, the project has been presented in collaboration with Poliform, an Italian brand which distinguish itself in the design world for its production of furniture with an original and contemporary taste.

The altreforme project has been exhibited from 5th to 8th December in the Poliform Miami showroom during the Design Miami, the event that saw in 2008 the presentation of the very first altreforme collection.

The party dedicated to altreforme saw the participation of artists, designers, gallery owners, curators and collectors who fill up the city during the art and design week making it the most cosmopolitan center of international creativity.

cioccolata is a bookcase whose taste is refined, sweet and incredibly unique. The event “altreforme starring Chupa Chups®” presented to the public a selection of altreforme furniture and accessories dressed for the occasion with the Chupa Chups® prints, revisited by the eclectic pop artist and fashion designer The Rodnik Band, inspired by the surrealism trend and by Salvador Dalì, who revisited Chupa Chups® brand in 1969.
