My boy became twelve years old last month. We are both getting older and slower but we still enjoy very much our walk near the beach. Here is one of Lucky's moments in our favorite spot. Photo taken today 13th of December 2022.
There are many times I pass this barn, and I think Ooooooo! But more often than not, courtesy of the 50mph average speed limit just there, I have cars immediately behind me, and there is no where to easily pull up.
Mind you last time I was there and had parked at the roadside, some woman drew up along side me, wound down the window of her almighty, I am superior to thou, SUV, scowled at me, and barked aggressively " You can't take that!" leaving me traumatised and withered at the side of the road as she disappeared off down the road never to be seen again.(Mind you I would give her What For if I did see her again!)
Oh BTW HFF.
It's a little too big for two persons, but we will get used to it.
(Actually it's a palace in Ahrensburg near Hamburg)

With dark gray upper-parts and a neat white tip to the tail, the Eastern Kingbird looks like it’s wearing a business suit. And this big-headed, broad-shouldered bird does mean business—just watch one harassing crows, Red-tailed Hawks, Great Blue Herons, and other birds that pass over its territory. Eastern Kingbirds often perch on wires in open areas and either sally out for flying insects or flutter slowly over the tops of grasses. They spend winters in South American forests, where they eat mainly fruit.
