Skyline shot.
This is the part of the course the spectators never get to see, as the hill curves over and away from them.
See previous - the track was set out over a recently cleared stubble field. The layer of Cotswold chippings is abundant on the surface. After one spectator suffered a bloodied face from a flying stone repeated warnings had to be given for spectators to move back from the top bend. But to where - on such a compact site?
See previous - pulling back gives a better idea of the steepness at this point, and the need for measured braking and concentration on the adverse-camber bottom turn [ - twinshock practice ]
See previous photo - from this you can see how Scott Hayworth was a full loop and a half ahead of 2015 Champion Wayne Partington.
Club members and friends clear up after a brilliant day's racing - thanks to everyone at Mid Wales Classic.
…the weather had been like this all day. Problem was torrential overnight rain, rather than on the day itself, but the damage was already done.
DIARY DATE - Welsh Classic MX presentation night is at Llanidloes Rugby Club, Smithfield Street SY18 6EJ on Saturday 28th November, 7pm for dinner at 8pm. I've been lucky enough to be invited along to take a few photos. See you there?
This is the artificial double hump at the back of the course.
I could've got a much better shot of the course layout from 100 yards further back, but I was too busy gassing to marshal Neil Roberton...

My buddy Shane hit me up and asked me if I wanted to go take photos while he hit the new motocross track down at Pacific Raceways. So of course I agreed.
I used to ride motocross and race a little bit. I sold my bike last year and I really miss it. Riding was so fun and had so many memories of all the riding trips and places I went with friends.
Pacific Raceways shut down their mxtrack a few years ago and this weekend was the first weekend it has been opened again. Except it's a new track than what was there before and from what all the riders were saying, definitely not as good as the old one. It wasn't really photo worthy because it didn't have any big jumps or good corners. Plus I got kicked off the track after like five minutes.
The street bike track was sorta by the mx track so I walked over there and snapped some shots of those crazy dudes. Although they are both motorcycle racing, the type of racing and technique is way different. Here they are both leaned over like crazy though. One dragging knee over a long wide corner, and the only scrubbing the top of a roller.
