This came into the shop needing some TLC. It had sporadic output, and, it didn't sound ANYTHING like it should. Sounded cool, but not normal. The two switches were totally broken and had to be replaced. The stomp switch was intermittent and was also replaced.

This thing is pretty awesome. I looked on eBay and there was one listed with a Buy It Now of $695.

The Univox Uni-Tron 5 is a copy of the Mu-Tron III which was sold by Unicord. It's a REALLY COOL envelope filter. Funk-in-a-box.

Wow, @mu_fx / @beigelsoundlab is working on a small version of the Tru-Tron 3X! #Repost @rand_anderson ・・・ It's alive! #microtron3 #comingsoon #mutron3 #trutron3x #9volt #compact #envelopefilter, via Instagram: bit.ly/2haaDjQ

Here they are in their glory. Good as new. The DRIVE switch selects the direction of the filter sweep and the RANGE selects the frequency range covered by the filter envelope.

I also noticed one of the two battery clips was pretty crappy (Yes this runs on 18 volts) so I replaced both of them.
