For those of you who like to read, and love people and love dogs, you should definitely read this book (that's if you haven't already read it). Best true story. I enjoyed it so much, I found them on Instagram and follow them there now. And, when I saw that he had another book called "Second Chances" I got that too. I'm reading it now and it's just as good.

Along with Hume, Kant, Schopenhauer, Popper is one of the greatest philosophical minds ever. Popper's book "The Open Society and Its Enemies" completely destroys Marxism. If you are a Marxist, you might want to read this book...Popper predicted the genocides of Marxism (Stalin, Mao, etc) long before they happened. He knew Lenin personally.
Although Marxism sounds good in principle, Popper shows how incorrect assumptions lead to extremely horrific results.
Popper also had a lot to do with the decline of the logical positivists and the linguistic philosophies.....
The book Confessions of a Philosopher by Brian Magee has an excellent chapter on Popper.
Make sure your library has Popper, Hume, Kant, and Schopenhauer. (If they don't already, then you don't have a good library.) Then read them, although they will be difficult, they'll change you. Like Einstein's theories, we've all heard of them but few of know much more than E equals mc squared. It's time to change that.

3) The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
...Very amazing book! I watched the American version w/ Daniel Craig & Rooney Mara and shit, that movie was ahhmazing soo I had to read it! It was a bit different than the movie but it was an amazing adventure! I havent had time to read the second part or the third yet BUT I'm reading "Playing w/ fire" as we speak..or type? haha
4) The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseii
..I've already talked about this book by oh my, it is simply life changing. No words can describe what this novel made me feel. It's the saddest & yet entertaining and full of sorrow and happiness. There is a HUGE twist (well actually two twists) towards the end which literally had me crying my eyes out but also happy in a sad way, like I felt a heart wrenching pain for the protagonist and his best friend.
5) Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk

6) Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
...Wow. This novel had me to tears, so much sorrow and pain in this novel, however, the little details had me to joyful tears! Anyways, this novel is more of an utopian society which creeped me tf out but um, still interesting! I was very curious as to why the kids live in that certain way..well read the book & you'll find out:)
