Jazz Ambassador, Paul Williamson

Whenever I went to the market I listened this man playing his guitar like a virtuoso, and singing traditional Mexican songs in a trembling but so melodic voice. One day he disappeared from the market and never came back. I still miss the man and his music.

From a capture in the town, of a fat raven.

Talented Gnaoua musicians and singers in Khamlia a village in eastern Morocco on the edge of the Sahara desert. These musical families start to train their youngsters to play traditional instruments when they are very young. The little boy in the picture had been performing with this group for a year, he was only allowed to perform the easier numbers and routines.

It has been some time since I have uploaded any images on Flickr and due to work commitments and getting busier ever more less time with my photography.

Still its always good to see the various work of our flickr friends and I still feel am on a learning curve.

This image of the tabla musician and creative beat sounds has revitalised me not to lose touch and for 2018 to set time aside for my photography work.

Macro Monday cloth challenge.

My dad played the Maine country music circuit in the 1940's. This was one of his many attires.

He was very exotic amidst the blond Finns, too busy, no time for a chat, unfortunately.

"The deeper the blue becomes, the more strongly it calls man towards the infinite, awakening in him a desire for the pure and, finally, for the supernatural... The brighter it becomes, the more it loses its sound, until it turns into silent stillness and becomes white."

~ Wassily Kandinsky

Exodus 15:2

American Standard Version

2 Jehovah is my strength and song,

And he is become my salvation:

This is my God, and I will praise him;

My father’s God, and I will exalt him.

“Life is painful and messed up. It gets complicated at the worst of times, and sometimes you have no idea where to go or what to do. Lots of times people just let themselves get lost, dropping into a wide open, huge abyss. But that's why we have to keep trying. We have to push through all that hurts us, work past all our memories that are haunting us. Sometimes the things that hurt us are the things that make us strongest. A life without experience, in my opinion, is no life at all. And that's why I tell everyone that, even when it hurts, never stop yourself from living.”
