Like several other works of architecture by Herzog & de Meuron the Forum Building, known since the 2012 relocation of Barcelona's Museu de les Ciències Naturals as the Museu Blau, is remarkable for its sensitive use of materials. A triangular mass of gray-blue concrete punctured and split in places to reveal the contrasting use of reflective planes, the building is a hard one to ignore, especially for an architectural photographer.

Os Museus Capitolinos são um conjunto de palácios romanos que abrigam uma vasta e importantíssima coleção de obras de arte. Localizam-se, salvo um prédio anexo, no topo da colina do Capitólio, em torno da praça redesenhada por Michelangelo em 1536, e reconstruída ao longo de 400 anos.
La nascita dei Musei Capitolini viene fatta risalire al 1471, quando il papa Sisto IV donò al popolo romano un gruppo di statue bronzee di grande valore simbolico.
Le collezioni hanno uno stretto legame con la città di Roma, da cui proviene la maggior parte delle opere.

It is a good example of late colonial architecture, particularly recognized by the Baroque-style stone entryway, with the Spanish coat of arms at the top and the extensive balconies on the facade.
Foto feita durante a tarde hoje, eu estava voltando pra casa depois de vender um xodózinho que estava usando pouco (a 100mm 2.8 macro, que fiz a foto postada anteriormente) e resolvi dar uma breve conhecida no museu que inaugurou há pouco tempo aqui em Porto Alegre / RS - O Museu do Iberê Camargo

The Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow) is a science museum in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was designed by Spanish neofuturistic architect Santiago Calatrava and built next to the waterfront at Pier Maua. The best way to photograph this unique structure is from a boat cruise on Guanabara Bay.

Una prolongación del Passeig Lluís Companys (Arc de Triomf), constituye el llamado Passeig dels Til•lers.
A mano derecha de este paseo, quedan emplazadas cuatro construcciones de la Exposición. La primera es el Castell dels tres Dragons, alzado entre 1887 y 1888, obra de Domènech i Montaner. Pese a la rapidez de la construcción no desempeñó su misión, que era la de ser el Café- Restaurante del Certamen.
El Castell dels tres Dragons acoge hoy en día las instalaciones del Museu de Zoología, que incluye una amplia muestra de animales disecados, una amplia fonoteca, biblioteca y librería, y organiza actividades diversas como son exposiciones, conferencias, etc.
An extension of the Passeig Lluís Companys (Arc de Triomf) is the so-called Passeig dels Til•lers.
On the right-hand side of this road there are four constructions from the World Fair. The first one is the Castell dels tres Dragons, erected between 1887 and 1888, and designed by Domènech i Montaner. Despite the speed of construction it did not fulfil its mission, which was that of being the Café- Restaurant of the Fair.
The Castell dels tres Dragons now houses the Zoology Museum, which includes a vast display of stuffed animals, a large sound archive, library and bookshop, and organizes various activities such as exhibitions, conferences, etc.

Luz (light) was a village that has submerged with the rise of the water of the Alqueva Dam, the largest man made lake in Europe. A village exactly like the original was built on a hill nearby.
