How our world has changed! This image of the Louvre is from our trip to London and Paris back last fall. When my desktop computer goes into screen saver mode, this is one of the pictures that keeps coming up. Every time I see it, I go back to the wonderful time we had in Paris. But, what’s even more startling is to see the crowd of people, considering what reality is now. We will be able to travel again when this pandemic is over, and my wife Marilyn and I look forward to returning to Paris some day.
He's a little over 3 months old, so his eyes should stay this color. But what is it? Gray, blue, gold?
Lors de ce premier jour au Caire, nous avons visité le musée Egyptien.
Véritable capharnaüm, il contiendrait plus de 120 000 pièces (bijoux, statues, statuettes, tombeaux, sarcophages etc)
Un nouveau musée est en construction du coté des Pyramides de Gizeh, immense architecture, qui devrait ouvrir d'ici peu.
La scénographie du musée n'étant pas extraordinaire, j'ai un peu aidé à la présentation par mon post traitement.
A noter : on paie deux entrées pour le musée, une pour soi, et une autre pour l'appareil photo !!!

The pad Muse is sitting on is a "Swedish mat" that I received as a gift for Christmas; I love it. It absorbs 15 times its weight in water, but also dries quickly. And it's machine washable, thank goodness.
En el centro de la ciudad de Ávila se encuentra la Academia de Intendencia Militar. Está ubicada en un edificio de estilo plateresco, denominado Palacio de Polentinos, que lleva ocupando desde el año 1911, fecha de creación del Cuerpo de Intendencia. Es en este edificio donde también está el Museo de la Intendencia Militar, dedicado a esta especialidad.
