I remember turning on my reading light in my room, with all the other lights off. I realized it was some really interesting harsh lighting. So I hollered for my sister to come in, and quickly snapped a few shots of her face. After I was done I thought to myself, what can I layer on top? I looked at the wall of my room to find a map of the world. I took the picture and opened photoshop. I knew to begin with, I wanted the map pattern on her face but not anywhere else, so I made sure the background of the image of her face was completely black and multiplied the image on top!
