The Wrigley Building is on the Chicago River, here at night with "CHICAGO" superimposed (double exposure on 35 mm film).
Multiple cloud to cloud strikes as the storm heads east away from the Wichita metro area. This storm produced at least one tornado touch down in Haysville, a suburb of Wichita.
Not the most fascinating subject, but a somewhat successful implementation of a (labor-intensive) technique for creating a "multiple exposure" from a camera that can't actually take one.
Now to try this out on a more interesting sequence! (But the title, I think, improves this photo about a gazzillion percent.)

This was 10 different exposures from -EV4 to +EV5 blended in camera on a Nikon D300.
We were told that before filming was due to start, for a few weeks, someone had the job of hanging washing up each morning, taking it down each night, so that a realistic level of wear and tear was walked into the grass!
これから書くことは上の写真にはまったく関係ないし、
それ以前にこれはけっこう前に撮ったもの。
バタバタしていたのでまだ開いていないが、「中判カメラの教科書」を買った。
Instagramでスナップマガジンの編集の方をフォローしているので、
先月末に発売されたことはもちろん、取材と編集の過程も断片的ながら知っていた。
トリミングじゃない、6×6のカメラが吐き出す画ってどんなものだろう。
中判の豊かな表現力ってどんなものだろう。
読む前からすでにドキドキしている。
