today was an exciting day! it's the day that the Halo: Reach Beta drops!
yes the new halo online multiplayer is finally here
they haven't had a new multiplayer for halo since halo 3
and that was a very long time ago. i got up around 10am and was going to wait until 11 or so to get Kaleb up and start playing. it was suppose to start at dawn but turns out that wasn't for everyone. for our part of the country it didn't start until 2pm so Kaleb and I watched so Tim and Eric awesome show and the 150th episode of Family Guy that came on last night. it was a pretty crazy poop eatin episode and if you like Family Guy you should hit up Hulu and watch it haha
once we could finally play we started the beta download and had some leftover pizza
we only got to play like three matches before the servers started messing up and no one could play. but dang. it is so amazing and a stupendous upgrade from Halo 3. i love it so much. if you want to play it you need a copy of Halo 3: ODST to get the beta for Reach but you can always go rent that so you can play. it would be worth it for sure.
but since it was messing up i decided to head over to the tattoo shop to hang with Richard while he got another tattoo :D
i was there for about three hours and once i got home Halo: Reach was up and going strong. no more screwy sever issues. thank goodness.
we played for a long time and later that night Zach got on and started playing with us.
Kaleb and I had to take turns of course since we only have one copy of Halo 3: ODST
we both were doing pretty good and whenever Kaleb got into a swat match it was utter madness haha he completely wrecks kids on there.
my favorite gun is still the sniper and you can now sprint or use the other perks the game now has. i can't wait for the beta to release more content but for now it's pretty exciting with all the cool armor you can buy with points and such
one of the best things i think they did was change the ranking system. it was awful in Halo 3 but now it uses experience points and an awesome points system.
anywho later that night around 1:30am Ashley came over after being at school and i called it quits for the night.

This is the battle report for after the match - the map was the "Caspian Border"...lasted what seemed like a few hours...but was reported to be 1 hour and 24 minutes.
