U2 - Allez C'est Parti MULTICAM FULL CONCERT @ Paris 2010-09-18 iii YaaaY !!! ( ^+- )
A small Nieto "Cetreria" Bowie knife (Nieto Ref. 4402) with olive wood handle, made in Spain. Propped up against some camo stuff.
The knife has a blade length of only 11.28 cm (4.44"), which makes it legal to be carried in Germany - the legal limit is 12.0 cm (4.72"). Anything with a longer blade may be owned, but not carried.

Hey guys back with a new Multicam fig I think I did a pretty good job on it let me know your thoughts below also I've been doing modeling as well currently working on a 1:32 HU-1D Huey Gunship I plan on making a scene with it but thank you guys so much for all the support it truly means the world to me even though I might not seem like I appreciate it thank you so much!
-John
Hey everyone I was finally able to paint up some Multicam let me know what you think but other than that I think it turned out pretty great thank you for the support!
This was one of my figs that took the longest to make. It has been a week since I started and I really like how he turned out. The people who have been tagged have been inspirations to paint the camo.
Feel free to comment.
Hey guys so here is a fig that has been in the making for a very long time because I couldn't get the multicam pattern down so tell me what you guys think also the vest idea is Chase C. So credit goes to him on the vest comments are appreciated
This is probably one of my most favorite figs besides the Multicam fig. This fig took me about 3 days to paint and put together and I feel it turned to pretty good.
Feel free to comment!
Some simple combos.
I'm in school now so there will be very few posts for the next couple months. I did bring a few things with me so I will try to get a few shots using them.
Updated my multicam; I'm actually trying to blend the colours, and use more accurate colours ( the greens and browns were too dark on my older multicam) now, so it should look a bit better.
I needed to make a figure for the ACR, so I came up with this.
Looking at it now, I reckon I should have a logo on that baseball cap. I dunno what logo, though; any ideas?
Comments and criticism appreciated.
Attempt number two at some MC Tropic. I am really digging this fig. I also got new paints and brushes so I'm getting back into the groove of things.
This MRU Day II, you'll have an opportunity to pick up some of these! (They will have vests, random types)
Hey guys this is my first attempt at Black multicam so go easy on me I will be redoing him in the future once I get better at it but this is what I have now other than that I think I did a pretty good job on the airframe ballistic helmet!
I felt like it was about time I started posting more modern combat figs, and with Vic releasing some new figs (I got a specter!) I felt inspired to scrape together a new mod and vest, both of which are made from broken and loose parts.
Also, I am very surprised at how well my Multicam blends in with the surroundings here.
The gun is inspired by one Tanner made a long time ago.
God bless!
-Lincoln
Heyyo.
So it snowed again, and I took some pics here.
It looked better here than in my light box... :/
Anyway onto the figure, :)
I KNOW YOU CAN'T SEE THE MULTICAM BLACK AS WELL.
Tell me if you want an up close pic so you can see all the dark colors. :l
The gun was, idek how to explain. but this inspiration+urban= some sort of camo
Everything else is self explanatory.
k.
See ya.
:D

Composite image made from two photos taken from the same spot using 2 different cameras, a Canon Ixus III APS with expired Fuji Nexia film, developed in the Bellini C41 kit, and a Ricoh R1 with Rollei Retro 400S film.
My v1 woodland camo in action. The Multicam looks like shit so I didn't want to post it! I think this looks pretty cool though! Tell me what you think
C&C is appreciated! (Going to have more frequent uploads for a while so stay tuned)
This has been mostly finished sitting around for way too long, so here we are!
JNG-90 was made pretty much from scratch, there's an HCSR scope, part of a lever and part of a large SW blaster an the rest is clay. Can't see too well in this photo but the M14 EMR-ish has a very modified stock and a cool reticle. I'll upload a pic later tonight with a few detail shots.
So yeah. Improved Multicam over my old Ghost, a Shemagh head wrap, and cool stuff and such. Much happy new year. I'll be casting and selling JNG's and headrwaps on my BL store when it's up. Soon.
And U-tugs :3
Please enjoy!
Holy.
I finished it.
This is probably the best fig I've ever made. So much work went into him. I based my Simon Riley off of multiple variations of him, with some creative license along the way; He's mostly meant to be based off the version from this screenshot, where you can see the bley shirt, multicam legs, black shapes near his cuffs, Brit arm insignias, and more that went into this guy. Obviously I added a tac vest, which he of course shows up in in other variations. I really should've sponged on dark bley on the light bley to achieve the speckled shirt that you can see in that reference pic before I started sculpting. Oh well. I like him like this.
Now, I know the English flags on his shoulders would be in a grayscale if I wanted to be super accurate, but doing them in color gave me a chance to show off how tiny I can paint :3
Yes those are quickmag pouches. Yes I should have cleaned up the black/bley transition on the middle one. Yes I sculpted one then casted them. And yes I am satisfied with them.
THE MULTICAM. I think this is one of the best camos I have ever painted. Real Multicam is a really interesting pattern--The initial and secondary color (darker tan and OD) are over the base tan in an unusual way. You see, parts of the darker tan and OD blobs blend out into the base color, while other parts of the blobs have very defined, contrasting edges. This made it incredibly difficult to reproduce, making utilization of paint washing in a small area crucial, and I'm not sure how successful I was. The dark brown and very light tan upper 'dot' colors were pretty easy, since they have entirely well-defined edges. But I have never put more work into camouflage. There's 5 and a half hours in those legs, easily.
Also that's why I didn't pouch and tacticool them up. I'm too egotistical and didn't want to cover my multicam :3
Oh and the headset is removable. It only requires a small notch cut into the top of the stud on a minifigs head. Doesn't interfere with hat-wearing (obviously when the headset is off) at all.
Oh and this is for Commander Wolffe's contest.
Please enjoy. I don't think I've ever put more effort into a fig. Your feedback and criticism is extremely appreciated, as are faves since faving means you like the photo enough to want to see it again :) Thanks much, and please enjoy!!

Didn't know what to name it, correct me if this is an incorrect title.
I've had this figure done for a couple weeks, but I just received my final package that would complete this fig. As you saw in a preview a little ways back in my stream, I have made multicam legs with the Tiny Tactical leg plugs, and these are where they come into play. The vest is inspired by KalSkirata, and is a mix of Tiny Tactical and MinifigCat parts. So let me know what you think, if you fave, drop a comment too please!
So I turn 16 tomorrow, and I decided to post a fig. The multicam is old as heck, I just realized I'd never posted it. Don't ask to send me anything as I will say no :P Sorry if I forgot to add you.
Inspired by Riley.
Woots! A US custom! So I held a poll previously seeing if you guys prefer me redo a MARpat or do a Multicam, MARpat won, so here you go!
Used to be a US Engineer but I felt nahhh nope. I hardly see any non-Battlefield Marines customs out there, so I decided to do one.
He comes with a M27 IAR, which is fully sculpted ontop of a BA ARC. More pics of it later!
Belt, vest, boots, pockets and pouches all completely sculpted from scratch.
MARpat was tiring but fun to make ;P It's completely freehand, done in around 3 hours, give or take. Might try to do a carved version of it, sometime in the future...
Thanks alot to Jon who gave me advice on the free hand MARpat and the sculpting of the opentop magazine pouch.
Thanks to Richard for helping me with sculpting the M27-IAR.
Tags and groups later, gotta rush to school now!
Final, re-exported to Photoshop to add the lettering. There's some technical things I'd have liked to do better, but what I got was more or less what I intended.
Dedicated to the men and women serving far from home this holiday season.
My Scottish and British figures (modern)
from left to right:
- Coldstream guardsman desert combat DPU.
- Scots guard in palace guard (not sure what its called haha) dress. the other red fellow is the same)
- Scots guardsman in the Khaki dress uniform (1980's)
- British Infantry in the MTP camo. Please note MTP differs in style from crye multicam.
Heh, been a while since I've posted. I'm not dead, just extremely busy!
As per commission, I've made a figure based on this, but with a different weapon and some modifications.
This was extremely fun to make, as I got to use a casted version of my slimmed torsos, hips, and legs (a product I'm thinking of offering). Additionally, I sculpted a helmet cover over a heavily modified Combat Brick helmet, using Tiny Tactical's amazing helmet rails and NVG mount. The rails on the gun were sculpted, along with most of the pockets and a few pouches.
This was also my first time painting multicam and woodland camo on a figure.
Please check out my instagram @avxtc_designs to see more frequent updates and WIPs! I post a lot more on there, and you'll get a chance to see some of my casted projects that I'll be releasing very soon. So as always, expect more, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!
-Andrew
This was made using some parts from older sets that I still had (Cold Weather Ops set) and the Ops Core - Mohawk version which I hadn't used until now.
It also features some marksman glasses, which are a piece that I should be getting in soon. These will be cool to just add a little bit of extra detail to standard Lego heads, with Baseball caps, boonie hats etc.
I'll probably switch out the headset for a TT one, although I don't actually mind the chunkier look of this one too much.
The overall base colour for this multicam is a bit darker than that of the DEVGRU guy I made a few weekes back, as I decided to paint the camo right over a dark tan primer, rather than lay down a light tan base to start with. I't's kinda cool to have a couple of slight different variations to compare though.
I think I'll have to do something different to straight up military for my next figure, as I have made around 4-5 in succession ; )
Got some MRU multicam bodies some days ago, and with me not having any helmets for them (yet), I had to use my overused and bland hood thing lol
if you're retarded, and think that the cattails are made out of tooth picks and spaghetti, I can tell you that they aren't. They're made out of tan antenna and yellow 3mm soft flex tube.
so go follow this guy he has some great multicam and he seems to have great potential and he deserves more followers :)
Another commission completed.
First attempt at multicam, quite pleased with how it came out.
There is another figure to the group, but he was taking the picture, so I recreated the scene as it appears in the source material.
Hope you like em peeps!
Home for a few days. Got some new Brickarms PCV along with Citizen Brick MultiCam in the mail. Weapons are my favourite TT SBR Limited Kit. Enjoy.
Nothing too special, just felt like making something.
Shoutout to Steve for all the TT freebies.
Camo by Nico.
Also Merry Christmas!
Another commissions finished and another one that I may well cry when packaging for shipment :(
This is supposed to be loosely based on an S.A.S. Halo trooper, so the camo is supposed to be MTP (not all that different from Multicam in my eyes) and I went with a G36 just for a little variation over an M4.
I went with a slightly lighter look than most Halo jumpers, as I thouight that the MASSIVE pack would obscure too much of the fig, but as it goes, I made the pack detachable via magnetic strip, so I may mess around with a larger flight pack next time.
This will be one of the last full (from scratch) commissions that I'm going to do.
Hope you guys like it!
Recently got some new paints so decided to do some multicam! Please leave feed back on how I can improve this fig! ~kthxbai
Its been a while since I picked up a brush(kal this ones for you) so what do you think guys?
Do you like the setup guys?
P.S. The photo does no justice
I looked up their website, am thinking of buying this kilt for Ross
he wore one many years ago when he was in The Seaforth Highlanders :) also played the bagpipes.

Dylan's post the other day [https://www.flickr.com/photos/lego_armed-forces/32319792464/in/dateposted/] really inspired me to try multicam again and I knew that I wanted to have another go at my old favourite SEAL Team 6/DEVGRU operator.
This figure is comprised of mostly my cast pieces and complimented with a Tiny Tactical weapon, attachments and some other TT parts (chem lights, radio, knee pads, carabiner and admin pouch).
The G-Bricks parts in this figure are:
-Ops Core (Spec Ops version)
-GPNVG's
-Gunsight Mandible
-Mechanix Gloves
-New torso (includes shemagh), new legs and new arm assemblies, which will be available individually.
The legs were sculpted without knee pads, so they will have wider scope for use. Also the pockets on the arms are more generic looking on the actual casts (these have been modified) again, so they can have a slightly wider scope for use.
Lastly, I know that I've done this figure loads of times already, but I think this one is nicer looking than the other versions I've made ; )
