My daughter calls me at a church function to ask if I could come home and take a picture of her and her friends.
I thought it was because one of them will be moving soon and she wants some nice pictures of all of them together. NOT! When I arrive I see these three covered in mud after getting into a mud fight at the beach.
This is them trying to show their muscles off. The one on the end was having a hard time because the mud was drying already. =)
Eager racers have a mud fight at the starting line of the Pine Lane Mud Bog's annual footrace on June 18 at Pine Lane Farm in Keeling, Va.
I set up to capture the contestants starting the "River Knock-Out" race and then running to the finish post whilst Lens Buddy (my other half) caught them racing over the obstacles.
Might as well and was pushed in...MOST.MUD.EVER!!! FTW in the kilt and socks. Saved my shoes at least ❤

Playing dirty is a requirement when you want to win the Mud Olympics (Wattolümpiade) in Brunsbüttel/Germany. There are football, handball and volleyball matches, and relay races using an eel instead of a baton. And of course, there's mud. Lots of it.
