The M1083 MTV standard truck is designed to transport cargo and soldiers. It's rated for a payload capacity of 5 US tons (roughly 4,500 kg). To facilitate loading and unloading, the bed-side rails are mounted on hinges and can be lowered. The cargo bed itself can also be removed easily.

Mountain View Fire Fighters arrived on the scene of a house fire on Wortham Court in March and found a single home with active fire in a significant portion of the residence. A fire attack was initiated and within 5 minutes a 2nd alarm was called to bring additional resources and personnel to assist in fighting the fire. The fire did extend to one of the neighboring houses during the incident.
Residents who were home at the time of the incident all managed to self evacuate and there were no reported injuries. No cause or origin has been determined at this time and fire investigators are just beginning their investigation. During the incident Mutual Aid assistance was received from the Palo Alto Fire Department, Santa Clara County Fire Department, Santa Clara County Fire Associates, and the Mountain View Police Department.
Mountain View Battalion 51 serves as the duty B/C for the area. The rig is a 2011 Chevy Silverado with custom command center built into the rear.

A closer look at 'that' crazy hanging building. Now through the zoom I could see reflections and get the impression that 3-story console of an office is clad in stainless steel or chrome-plated...
