The challenge for Project 366-1 this week is something yellow so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!! ;-D
My gallery is getting more and more bizarre! My kids wanted me to photograph their Mr Men collection… :)

Finally - a use for the box frame I bought from a charity shop two years ago thinking, 'that'll come in handy for something...' and a home for the bags of Fisher Price and Playmobil figures and other refugees from the charity shop 10p basket which have languished in an old vanity case in my cupboard for years.

Crank is a village near Rainford, Merseyside, England. It is known locally for its ghost stories 'The White Rabbit of Crank' and 'Crank Caverns' .
Crank Gala Day is held every year (in July) and for the last couple of years has included a Scarecrow competition.
For a small village the range and quality of the scarecrows was staggering. Well worth a see next time you are passing ...
Llwyngwril Systems took their inspiration for this fast personal transport from Roger Hargreaves' Mr Rush.
I have the parts to build this in real bricks back in Wales. With just a 1x2 column as its spine, the windscreens might not stay aligned quite as perfectly as in this rendering.
This might be my only decent shot this week, with the bad luck I have had with clouds, and the even less useful police! Not exactly taxing, but a few minutes stress relief as my Duaghter and I did this delightful old jigsaw puzzle.
Continuing my quest to photograph all public libraries in Kent, today I filled in a few gaps from the north east corner.
These lovely cheerful characters were just some of the creations made by the local crochet club who meet in the library. I also saw a giant with his beanstalk, Peter Rabbit and lots more.
126 in 2026 no 110 the more the merrier (and this crowd certainly do look merry!)
I said that I would document the (former building supply store) Sydenhams site on Blandford Road. This colourful graffiti now adorns the sheds, that are due to be demolished soon.

First stab at the new PX70 PUSH. I couldn't stop smiling when I first saw the colors. Then I remembered the blue shift and quickly threw this in the freezer. This was shot with the wheel turned to full lighten. The dark/light bands on this are creases in the fabric and nothing to do with the film itself.
I took a few test shots and some of the results look better when it wasn't shot under "full lighten mode". I also tried peeling a couple at 15 minutes [couldn't peel any earlier as they hadn't finished developing], and got white bits stuck all over. The ones that were not peeled nor put in the freezer still look ok, but it's only been a couple of days. We'll see how well they age. So far, I'm really pleased with the improvements. Well done, Impossible! Thank you!
And don't feel you have to restrict it to the ones shown here.... I think I'd like to be Little Miss Sunshine.
I think I love these lot as much now as I did way back then.
I love this t-shirt. Little Miss Naughty was my favorite Little Miss character when I was a kid, because she was purple (my favorite childhood color) and because she was always smirking about something.
Always smirking about something? Gee, I don't know anyone like that. Ha.

It's a work day so no time for daylight pics and even if there had been, the skies have been dull, grey and uninspiring. I've spent my whole evening so far planning and preparing for tomorrow's lessons and so what better way to relax than a few waterdrop shots and Mr Tickle before hitting the sack?!!
Anyway, must go, there's someone at the door...probably the men in white coats to take me away! LOL
PS go on admit it...Mr Tickle was your favourite Mr Man wasn't he?!

....can be kind of scary. I normally steer clear of this neighborhood, but today I got brave and drove through it. Took this photo out my window as I was driving by. I think I overheard this.....

I have done five hours solid school work tonight so I rewarded myself with some more waterdrop therapy!! My children love the Mr Men series so I reckon they'll enjoy this shot when they wake in the morning! ;-))
My niece bought me a Mr Messy T Shirt so it's only right that I did a SP wearing it.
Not easy, had to move all the furniture out the living room, prefocus where I thought I'd be and set the lights out, then try not to show too many chins. I don't do smiling. Cropped for composition.

One of several models inspired by the series of children's books by Roger Hargreaves, that I made some time ago.
I just found out today that you can have your cake and eat it too! After further investigation, I found that the Moomins were attached to their boxes by elastic straps that could easily be moved. Once the Domos found out about this, they quickly removed the bands and my flocked Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden were free to join their new friends.
My daugther loves Mr. Men & Little Miss (by Roger Hargreaves). I made these cookies from her favourite characters to decorate her birthday cake. Cookies ready... now on to the cake!
I've noticed that no two pedestrian signs in Staines are alike - thought it might be fun to put them all together.
Kind of looks like a coded message from a Sherlock Holmes story....

My good old pallies who I love so much, and go to scuola with me, know I have a very nice red scarf with faint orange paisley patterns on it. I lay this out on the floor, and (once I had collected them) spread these CD's on it, took the shot, then added boost on Picnik. Done...
Yay!!!
I would just like to let you know, that most of the CD's are not my own, I just chose them coz they are nice and colourful, asmost of my CD's are copies or just plain boring! TheMr. Men and Little Miss DVD, is, very unfortunately,(as I am Little Miss Trouble's greatest fan)not mine.
Also, the "Carnival!" CD, is not in my possession.
However the pink floyd CD IS my own-
- As my friends know, I am the world's GREATEST pink floyd fan.
That is not something to be ashamed of.
;-)
