My short trip to Iceland led me to the Þingvellir National Park, before we went to the Langjökull Glacier. I took this photo there and thought it's nothing special, with a flat sky and no detail in the foreground. But thanks to Lightroom the beauty came back and I'd like you all to enjoy this.

The Worthington Glacier is a valley glacier located adjacent to Thompson Pass in southeastern Alaska. Located on the Richardson Highway at milepost 28.7 mi east of Valdez, it was listed as a National Natural Landmark in 1968.

Lago di Cancano is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 1.920 m above the sea level, located in the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, Lombardy, in Italy.

The steep winding road with 18 hairpin bends through the pass Torri di Fraele leads to this lake. This road is ancient and once was known as the "salt & wine route" and connected Valtellina valley with Switzerland.

Lago di Cancano route included in the site "dangerousroads" - the world's most spectacular roads.

Озеро ди Канкано - высокогорное озеро на высоте 1920 м над уровнем моря, расположенное в Национальном парке Стельвио, Ломбардия, в Италии.

К озеру ведет извилистая дорога с 18 крутыми поворотами через перевал Torri di Fraele. Эта древняя дорога когда-то была известна как "путь соли и вина" и соединяла долину Вальтеллина со Швейцарией.

Upper Lake, Glendalough, Co Wicklow

One year ago today at the "Prinzenkopf" tower between Bullay and Pünderich on the river Moselle.

The river here makes a long bend, coming from the right and left flows downriver.

Heute vor einem Jahr auf dem Prinzenkopfturm zwischen Bullay und Pünderich an der Mosel.

Der Fluß macht hier eine lange Kehre, kommt von rechts und fließt links moselabwärts.

A couple of the Wrangell Range peaks rising majestically above Willow Lake.

Mt Drum (12,010 ft; 3,660 m) and Mt. Sanford (16,237 ft; 4,949 m) are both volcanoes, fortunately slumbering at this time. First time I drove thru here I could barely see the lake, with the heavy rains. Didn't know what I was missing. Sure glad I had a chance to see them on my return.

My first digital camera- Canon PowerShot G3.

It was a fantastic walk through the Sigmund-Thun Klamm and round the Klammsee. In the background you can see the glacier Kitzsteinhorn.

The Klammsee is a reservoir and is located in the municipality of Kaprun in Salzburg in Austria.

The Klammsee is an underground storage with a volume of 200,000 m³ and part of the power station Kaprun. The dam Bürgsperre with a height of 19 m accumulates the Kaprun Ache.
