Mount Freycinet is the highest mountain peak in the Freycinet National Park. At 620 metres, it is not high, having been weathered and worn down over the past 400 million years. But it still makes an impressive sight, and is a popular climbing destination. In the bright afternoon light the reflections in the lagoon are quite beautiful, especially next to that lovely yellow and green grass

Just north of Learmonth in Western Victoria, Australia, is Mount Bolton and this view is looking down nearly 2,000 feet onto farm land with sheep grazing in the distance. It is the middle of winter and the mist is due to fine rain. . . . . .Canon EF 55 -200mm f4.5 -5.6 USM
After an amazing day in Banff National Park we ended the day hanging out at the Vermillion Lakes watching the sun do it's magic on the beautiful scenery. The cloud formations above Mount Ruapehu were fascinating to watch as they continually changed across the peaks and above the mountain.
