detailed view of lower half of torso on the final sculpture. similarly to the rest of the sculpture, I used mod roc and sculpted chunky rough shapes to create a spine peeking out from beneath the torso. I used acrylic paint to add shadows and depth to the spine. I used red fabric cutting it into strips and using a heat gun to melt small sections of the fabric strips before gluing it to the inside of the torso. I had to experiment with different red fabrics to see which reacted the high levels of heat I was applying and decided that I liked the way the fabric I used in the final shrunk and morphed with the heat. I felt like the lower half was missing something and looked to empty so I decided to shred black bin bags in the same way I shredded the fabric, but kept the strips longer than the fabric ones. I then used a very small amount of red paint on brush to dry brush the strips with a hint of red tying it into the rest of the sculpture, I then glued it onto the inside of the torso below the red fabric as I didn't was the black strips on top as I knew they take over the red fabric too much.

This is my second attempt at a morphed photograph. It's still not perfect, but it is a bit better than the first one. All comments, advice and thoughts welcome.
