The Morley helper is ready and waiting to shove Q541 over the Duff Mountain Grade as night falls over the Cumberland Mountains.
A pair of CitiRails lead T700 out of the tunnel at Morley. There will be no help today over the mountain.
I have driven past here 100 times but have not stopped until now, the mist in the valley added to at atmosphere for sure.
There's no helper crew on duty at Morley tonight, meaning this southbound coal train is going to have to wait for a shove over Duff Mountain. In the meantime he'll take his power and shove a southbound ethanol train, currently waiting up at Oaks.
M541 rolls out of the first tunnel along Hickory Creek. It will stop just ahead to get help from the Morley pusher over Duff Mountain.
The 17th century Morley Library in Winchester Cathedral houses more than 2000 books. Bequeathed by George Morley, Bishop of Winchester (1598? -1684), the Library contains texts on a diverse range of subjects, including theology, history, geography, natural science, politics and literature.
Photography is not allowed inside the library, but we were more than happy when the attendant allowed us to take a photo from the doorway.

C719 rolls out of Hickory Creek #1 and into Morley, TN. The helper will open up on the main after the coal train passes and get on the rear to shove over Duff Mountain.
CSX B637 crosses the Clear Fork in Morley, TN with its 96 loads of ethanol bound for Lawrenceville, GA. The train will shortly come to a stop at the station point to add the Morley pusher on the rear to help them up Duff Mountain. 3-20-22
Found this swampy pond while I was driving around on the gravel roads in the Stoney First Nations Reserve near Morley Alberta. The countryside in this area is virtually untouched.
