Auf der Suche nach "Schnee-Motiven", fand ich ein Labyrinth von alten Ästen die mit Moos bewachsen waren und im Herbstlaub lagen.
Thank you for visiting my page. Thanks for rating my photo. I wish you all a lot of fun and pleasure in photography.

If you look at the flower of a milkweed plant at a certain angle you will see a few cows looking back at you. On this one there are two in the middle and two in the upper left hand side. The field is full of the incredible scent of these flowers and the sound of some mooing too. Also the sight of monarchs fluttering around the plants.

Moos
Hast du schon jemals Moos gesehen?
nicht bloß
so im Vorübergehen,
so nebenbei von obenher,
so ungefähr -
nein, dicht vor Augen, hingekniet,
wie man sich eine Schrift besieht?
O Wunderschrift! O Zauberzeichen!
Da wächst ein Urwald ohnegleichen
und wuchert wild und wunderbar
im Tannendunkel Jahr für Jahr,
mit krausen Fransen, spitzen Hütchen,
mit silbernen Trompetentütchen,
mit wirren Zweigen, krummen Stöckchen,
mit Sammethärchen, Blütenglöckchen,
und wächst so klein und ungesehen -
ein Hümpel Moos.
Und riesengroß
die Bäume stehen ...

The storm blew this small tuft of moss from the roof. I liked the fine structures
With a herd of cattle systematically crossing and grazing the pasture above Malcoff Farm yesterday, and with an hour before the Selby freight was due, I decided to try include one or several of them in the frame if at all possible.
At one point the herd had all but disappeared over the eye-line but, as the time drew near, the sun came out and a few members of the herd decided to walk back up the slope, presumably having richer pickings in mind.
For this shot I'm stood on the Pennine Bridleway almost directly above Cowburn Tunnel, which runs for just over two miles (3.4km) beneath Brown Knoll before breaking out in the Hope Valley just west of Edale.
The train is the 12.21pm Peak Forest Cemex - Selby loaded aggregate (6E51), hauled by GBRf Shed 66786.
Sat on a rock in the sun, with coffee and a chez-nous mini pear-pie in hand, whether the image turns out or not, you just know it's a good day!
