This month the (Freestyle on the Fifth (FOTF) theme was 'Letterbox'. The challenge was chosen by Gary.
This image was taken on a roadrip in the USA in 2013. I think it was on Route 66 between Sedona and Joshua Tree.
The most incredible sunset ripped through the sky and illuminated the line of ghostly letterboxes.
I really have no idea where the owners may have lived. It seemed we were in the middle of nowhere and were miles from civilization.
Maybe the letterboxes were safekeeping the letters for all those lost on the endless highway.....

Halloween is upon us! Well almost. Perhaps. Anyway! Time to break out the spooky stuff and start getting ready for upcoming events that will be all over the grid over the course of the next month. I've put together a demon vibe for those who like to RP a darker side or just rattle around the grid with, but any of the items I'm wearing can easily be used for punk and cyber, and by ladies who wish to have a bit of an edge.

Another Tuesday morning run to Pueblo for the Rock & Rail almost two months to the day since my last visit, and what a difference some rain...or a lot of rain...makes. The train is seen here rounding the curve at Goodnight siding. Unfortunately, the crew will return to Portland light power, thus ending my excursion on the Rock & Rail for today.
Two girls chatted about pregnancy at the market in Almuñecar. The picture is from 2005, so the kid is 17 today, time flies.

Un mese fa si verificava una delle più belle eclissi lunari del secolo, sicuramente la migliore per durata.
La luna, bassa sull'orizzonte, ha aiutato i fotografi di mezzo mondo a creare composizioni interessanti in una calda serata luglio.
In questa foto, la luna al momento della massima intensità dell'eclissi assume un colore spettacolare, fra il rosso e l'ambrato.

Anyways, love yourself, love others, and don't let hatred cloud your views. Recognize the struggle of others and help strive towards stopping that struggle for the equality of all.
January is a reminder that the Winter season is long. Somehow I think that the “Winter Months” seem longer than any of the other months of the year. The snow and the wind can be very taxing when wanting to take a walk. Talking photos can be a chore but still we do it. Gratitude and Kindness know no calendar as they’re always present.

From last month - it's been too miserable to go out today with the freezing rain we had yesterday early morning and the cold - I hate being cold.
June is all about poppies, and this macro photograph reveals the heart of the flower in full detail. The stigma and stamens form an almost architectural pattern, surrounded by the warm red of the petals. An ode to the beauty that appears along fields and roadsides throughout the month.
