I put about €623 into this baby. Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' to the left was pretty much the worst pinball machine I've ever played.

Today is the annual Monster Bash in German Village. Our block is hosting a pre-party and each house is responsible for a little decoration and a little drinkage. What can possibly go wrong with 250 adults party between 8 and 2?

Miss Davis found a spookily good recipe for Shrunken head cider. It requires the slicing, carving and baking of some apples....then you float them in the punch. It takes a while to get the hang of carving what amounts to a super tiny pumpkin, even longer to make it look scary. As you can see, this one is scary = FAIL....the one lurking in the shadows has a little potential.

This picture is during the baking process...90 minutes at 250 degrees. For what it's worth, the cider is darn tasty, and dangerous when you add a bit more rum than required.
