The Monster Building, located in Quarry Bay neighbourhood in Eastern Hong Kong, isn’t actually a single building, but an E-shaped 19-floor complex composed of five interconnected structures: Oceanic Mansion, Fok Cheong Building, Montane Mansion, Yick Cheong Building, and Yick Fat Building. It was built during a population boom in the 1960s to offer housing for low-income residents. The Monster Building has 2443 flats and is home to around 6 thousand people.

This unusual looking cactus looks like an alien monster's arm and hand !
Those ' big thorns ' looks like fingers and the hairy filaments looks like fur !

Dawlish, Devon. Known for it's sea wall being battered by waves, even on a calm day! Here the water monster is climbing up to drench yet another victim!

Really not but sure looks like it. Rode over to Boyne City the other day to see how big it was this year. Huge and gorgeous. They stick a tall pipe in the ground close to winter and they have water that sprays out of the top........as the cold weather continues it gets bigger.
This green lynx spider will eat any insect,
Here is eating a grasshopper while the grasshopper is shedding,
Never seen that before,
It does not bite people Sheila:-)

Most spiders don't eat their prey whole instead they expel digestive enzymes onto or into the animal to liquefy it.
Some spiders use their fangs to inject the digestive fluid directly into the animal as you can see this one is doing it.

Gila Monster: Beads, Burrows, and Bite
One of only two venomous lizards in North America (the other’s in Mexico), the Gila Monster lumbers through the Southwest like it owns the desert—which it kind of does.
It doesn’t strike—it gnaws to inject venom. Yes, chews. Slowly. While you rethink your life choices.
It spends most of its time underground, emerging to snack on eggs, hatchlings, and the occasional unlucky rodent.
I photographed this one drinking at a pond and then strolling off like it had a reservation somewhere cooler. It never rushed. Why would it? Legends don’t run.

The Sand Motor is an innovative method for coastal protection. It is a huge volume of sand that has been applied along the coast of the province South-Holland at the city of Monster in 2011. Wind, waves and currents will spread the sand naturally along of South-Holland coastline. It's like building with nature. The Sand Motor will gradually change in shape and will eventually befully incorporated into the dunes and the beach. The coast will be broader and safer.
