Monoprix, across from Moulin Rouge. This started, in an odd way, an hour-and-a-half adventure across Paris to return some pants and a swimsuit! BTW, the Hard Rock Hotel Paris is NOT a landmark - no one knows where it is, except for the guy at the currency exchange place.

doing some shopping at our favourite neighbourhood grocers--Monoprix. why is it our favourite? well, it has numerous sizes of nutella as well as a copious selection of wine (as you can see)
Felix Potin was a highly successful French businessman in the mid 1800's. He built several absolutely stunning art nouveau buildings two of which are still standing. One is on rue de Rennes and has a stylized torch on it (now a Zara), the other is on boulevard de Sebastopol and is a Monoprix.
Monoprix sells crumpets! Chloe wanted to see the packaging. They're from the "So British!" range.
Casting the actual order of the day to the wind, they rightly ask: "brunch, breakfast or tea time?" (should be said in heavy 'Allo 'Allo accent)

Following Marks and Spencer giving up standalone stores in France post-Brexit, it is now in some Monop' outlets, the small city shops of the Monoprix company, as here at Paris Montparnasse station.
