savannah monitors are stoutly built, with relatively short limbs and toes, and skulls and dentition adapted to feed on hard-shelled prey. Maximum size is usually between 105 to 155 cm (3.5 to 5.0 ft) in length, although most specimens collected in the wild ranged from 60 to 76 cm (2 to 2.5 ft) with females being considerably smaller. The pattern of coloration of the skin varies according to the local habitat substrate. The body scales are large, usually less than 100 scales around midbody, a partly laterally compressed tail with a double dorsal ridge and nostrils equidistant from the eyes and the tip of the snout

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCS) are carbon based compounds that pose a significant health hazard due to their toxicity. VOCs online monitoring system adopts PIO (photoionization detector ) for gas detection. The target gas is irradiated I bombarded by ultraviolet light produced by the ion lamp, and is ionized after absorbing enough uv energy. The concentration of the target gas can be detected by detecting the tiny current generated after the ionization of the gas.

The system consists of sampling unit, condensing unit, zeroing unit, calibration unit, display unit, pressure alarm unit and analysis instrument. The sample gas enters into the PIO under the action of filtration and condensation of the suction pump. The detector transmits the processed concentration signal to the display unit, the end user, and the EPA platform. The user can set the auto zeroing and calibration period according to the actual situation. While the pressure alarm unit outputs a pressure alarm signal when the injection port of the analysis instrument is blocked, prompting the end user to clean the filter in time.

Features of EQMS VOCs Online Monitoring System

4.3-inch LCD screen, good human-computer interaction experience.

IP65 high standard protection design, which can be installed directly in the paint shop and outdoors.

Automatic zeroing and automatic calibration design greatly reduce maintenance workload.

Modular design, low maintenance cost.

Automatic temperature and pressure compensation can accurately calculate the gas concentration under normal pressure.

Battery module can be matched for continuous monitoring in power failure state.

Scalable SD memory card design with unlimited storage of historical data.

The alarm signal will be output to avoid in valid data if the sampling port is abnormally blocked.

Support HJ/T212, modbus and other protocols to support protocol customization.

The Hall Monitors @ Cavestomp, November 4, 2007, Warsaw -- Greenpoint/Brooklyn

The monitor barn is located along route 2 and richmond. I got out of the car and spent some time photographing the barn. This is a three part series featuring different part of the barn.

When we arrived in Sepilok at the Sepilok B&B, we quickly explored the premises and found this young Asian water monitor (Varanus salvator) searching along a shallow drain near our cottage.

Apparently, security was rather lax as the CSS Virginia's crew was able to capture not only the Monitor, but Clive Cussler as well!
