Soaring bridge is a unique viewing platform in the form of the Latin letter "V", located in the park "Zaryadye" in the very center of Moscow.
The bridge it is called only nominally, in fact it is a horseshoe-shaped console flight, making an arc over the Moskvoretskaya embankment and the water of the Moscow River. The total length of the observation platform reaches almost 245 meters, while it rests only on two supports located almost at the base of the bridge, and the length of the outreach of the console part is 70 meters. Towering 15 meters above the level of the Moskva River, the bridge seems to float above it - that's why it was called "Soaring"..A view of the Raushskaya embankment is one of the most important sights of Moscow. Here is the famous 5-star hotel Baltschug. You can also see the first power plant of Moscow MOGES - 1, built in 1896 and still in force. From the remarkable buildings of the embankment you can also note the head office MOSENERGO, the former hotel Khrulevoy, the temple of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and other buildings from the 18-19th centuries of construction.

Mit dieser Serie möchte ich auch die Dualität die in jedem von uns schlummert darstellen. Nehmt euch so an wie ihr seid im Guten wie im schlechten befreit euch aus eurem eigenen Gefängnis oder sprengt die Ketten die ihr euch selbst auferlegt habt. Verliert nie den Glauben an das gute

Irish blessing
A young beech tree is growing at the floor of a dense forest surrounded by old, large and strong pines and spruces.
On some days hardly a sunray can reach her and on others the world around is filled by only a pale shine.
On sunny days she sees islands of light wandering around across the dark forest floor, some fare away, some quite close and some only behind the next tree. With every island what is appearing on the forest floor she is wishing, that this one may reach her but much to often the beech tree only can gaze back at her ore watch her terminate to early again.
But from time to time, the young beech is lucky. An island is floating silently and irresistible towards her and suddenly everything is different. The beech tree is flushed by energy and she is glowing in the darkness of the forest floor. She is stretching herself against the light and is trying to convert and assimilate as much as possible immediately until that moment has passed away.
And every time she’s getting a little bit stronger and a little bit larger. And our young beech is confident, in a fare future she will raise her crown out of the shadow and she will feel the warmth of the sun every day. That’s worth it to keep going.
Eine junge Buche wächst am Boden eines dichten Waldes umring von alten, großen und mächtigen Kiefern und Fichten.
An manchen Tagen erreicht sie kaum ein Lichtstrahl und an anderen ist die Welt um sie herum lediglich von einem fahlen Schein erfüllt.
An sonnigen Tagen sieht sie Inseln aus Licht an ihr vorbei wandern, manche weit weg und manche ganz nah, manche direkt hinter dem nächsten Baum. Bei jeder Insel, die auf dem dunklen Waldboden erleuchtet wünscht sie sich, diese möge sie erreichen doch viel zu oft kann die Buche ihnen nur bedauernd hinterher schauen oder beobachten wie sie zu früh wieder erlöschen.
Doch von Zeit zu Zeit hat die junge Buche Glück. Eine Insel schwebt lautlos und unaufhaltsam auf sie zu und mit einem Mal ist alles anders. Die Buche wird durchflutet von Energie und sie leuchtet in der Dunkelheit des Waldbodens. Sie streckt sich dem Licht entgegen und versucht so viel wie möglich davon sofort umzuwandeln und aufzunehmen bevor der Moment vorüber ist.
Und mit jedem Mal wird sie ein klein bisschen stärker und ein klein bisschen größer. Und unsere junge Buche ist sich sicher, in einer fernen Zukunft wird sie ihre Krone aus dem Schatten erheben und jeden Tag die Wärme der Sonne fühlen. Dafür lohnt es sich weiter zu machen.
Guten Tag. Möge das Jahr 2023 von viel Gesundheit und Frieden geprägt sein! Aber meine Zweifel sind leider stärker als die Hoffnung.

The gas giant serves as a sun for the forest moon because it reflects the light from the two stars Endor 1 and Endor 2.

The Gorax are not so friendly, you better avoid them.
At the Yuzzums.. you could set up a Rock band with them.

Per Anhalter quer durch die Galaxis.
Besuch beim Wald Mond IX3244-A besser bekannt als Endor.
Da begegnete ich Wicket Wystri Warrick.
Sehr niedlich der kleine und er war auch sehr freundlich.
Die Landschaft des Mondes besteht überwiegend aus Wäldern, in denen die Ewoks beheimatet sind. Sowie Savannen und Gebirgen, nur 8% des Mondes ist mit Gewässern überdeckt.
Der Gasriese dient als Sonne für den Wald Mond, da er das Licht von den beiden Sternen Endor 1 und Endor 2 reflektiert.
Neben den Ewoks, die in stammesspezifischen Baumdörfern, leben im Wald auch die Bärenartigen Gorax und in den Savanen des Mondes auch Yuzzums.
Die Gorax sind nicht so freundlich, man geht sie besser aus dem weg.
Bei den Yuzzums.. mit denen könnte man eine Band aufstellen.
Möge die Macht mit dir sein…✌️

This lone sandhill crane was spotted in a local cornfield this morning. I missed it at first as it blends so well into the background, especially on a windy day when it was moging in the same direction as the corn stubble.

This vintage pram stands outside of a tiny, tiny pastry shop around my corner. It's so tiny that there are only a few tables in the room next to the salesroom; in the summertime, the public room is turned into an ice cream parlour, while the tables and chairs are moved onto the small street corner in front of the pastry shop. But one thing never changes throughout the seasons: Each Sunday afternoon, a long queue forms up outside of the shop. Frau Behrens Torten (Mrs. Behren's Cakes) is even opened now, during the second lockdown, because cakes are obvioulsly considered to be proper staple food and therefore stores selling cakes are exempted from the lockdown. I'd really like to invite you all to a piece of one of the delicious Frau Behren's cakes (my favourites are French lemon tart and mango yoghurt mousse cake, but there's something for everyone, they also have vegan cakes) :) Since I can't do that (unless we'll meet in Berlin one day), there's only one thing left to say: I wish you Happy Holidays, dear Flickr friends! Make the best of this unusual Christmas, and let's hope for a better 2021. I want to thank you for another wonderful year on Flickr, for your friendship and your inspiration (which was even more important in this scary, sad, strange year). Here's a virtual hug for you :) Stay safe and healthy, and take care!!!
Dieser betagte Kinderwagen steht vor einer winzigen Konditorei, Frau Beherens Torten, bei mir um die Ecke. Der Laden ist so winzig, dass es im Gastraum nur wenige, kleine Tische gibt, die im Sommer einer Eisdiele weichen und dann (in größerer Zahl) vor dem Geschäft aufgestellt werden. Eines bleibt aber durch alle Jahreszeiten hindurch gleich: Jeden Sonntag-Nachmittag bildet sich eine lange Schlange vor dem Geschäft und wenn man zu spät kommt, kann es gut sein, dass der Lieblingskuchen (in meinem Falle Französische Zitronentarte und Mango-[oder Maracuja-]Joghurt-Torte) bereits weg ist ;) Da Kuchen und Torten offenbar als richtige Lebensmittel angesehen werden, hat der Laden auch jetzt, während des zweiten Lockdowns, geöffnet. Gerne würde ich Euch zu einem Stück Torte oder Kuchen von Frau Behrens einladen (es ist für jeden etwas dabei, es gibt im Sortiment auch vegane Leckereien), aber da das nicht geht – es sei denn, wir treffen uns mal in Berlin – bleibt mir nur noch eines, nämlich Euch ein trotz allem frohes Weihnachtsfest zu wünschen. Macht das Beste daraus, vor allem aber passt weiter gut auf Euch auf und bleibt gesund – auf das 2021 ein besseres Jahr werden möge :)
Möge dieses Weihnachten von Freude erfüllt sein in allem, was ihr tut
und möge diese Freude das ganze Jahr über anhalten!

Roxy möge ein gutes Leben haben, soweit das für eine Kuh möglich ist. Es wird kurz genug sein. So hübsch wie sie ist, würde sich ein jeder Stier schnell in sie verlieben. Ich spende jedes Jahr für den Tierschutz. Aber ich will kein Pharisäer sein, auch in esse Fleisch, wenngleich deutlich weniger.

Die U-Bahnlinie U-7 hat einige sehr schön gestaltete Stationen. Dieser Bahnhof hat eine direkte Verbindung zur Berliner S-Bahn und dem Fernverkehr der Deutschen Bahn.
Mit Ulla, Erhard uns Silke sind wir bis zu diesem Bahnhof gefahren. So konnten wir entscheiden welche Bahnhöfe dieser Linie eine Besuuch wert waren

The U-7 underground line has some beautifully designed stations. This station has a direct connection to Berlin's S-Bahn and Deutsche Bahn's long-distance rail network.
We travelled to this station with Ulla, Erhard and Silke. This allowed us to decide which stations on this line were worth visiting.

La ligne de métro U-7 compte plusieurs stations très joliment aménagées. Cette gare est directement reliée au réseau ferroviaire urbain berlinois (S-Bahn) et au réseau ferroviaire longue distance allemand (Deutsche Bahn).
Nous avons pris le métro avec Ulla, Erhard et Silke jusqu'à cette station. Nous avons ainsi pu décider quelles stations de cette ligne méritaient une visite.
