Last #macromondays theme has been animals. As some of you might know....i am usually attempting severall ideas before i finalize which one goes into this fantastic marco group.
As for the last theme i also imaged the catwalk in front of an pretty old manual camera.
Size of the cats must be around 28-30mm aprox.
A catwalk, or runway, is a long, narrow stage used in the fashion industry for models to showcase clothing and accessories during a fashion show. Designers and brands utilize the catwalk as a platform to present their latest collections to audiences that often include fashion industry professionals, celebrities, and the media. Here are some defining features and descriptions:
Physical Structure: A typical catwalk is elevated from the ground, allowing the audience to have an unobstructed view of the models and the clothing they are wearing.
Setting: Catwalks can be found in various settings – from grand ballrooms and elaborate outdoor stages to more intimate settings. The backdrop, lighting, and music are carefully curated to reflect the theme or mood of the collection being presented.
Purpose: The primary purpose of the catwalk is to display clothing in motion, giving potential buyers and the audience a chance to see how clothes fit, drape, and move on the body.
Fashion Week: Catwalk shows are a significant component of major fashion weeks around the world, including those in cities like Paris, Milan, New York, and London.
Models: Models trained in runway walking are the main participants, and they walk down the catwalk one after the other, striking poses to best showcase the garments.
Audience: Seating or standing areas are arranged on either side of the runway for attendees. Front-row seats are often reserved for high-profile guests, including celebrities, fashion editors, and influencers.
