i cut the frame down to make the front of the fire place. for the back i turned the lid over - it already was black inside which is a bonus since i may be able to leave that as is - then filled it in with a piece of packing foam. this is the same foam i used for my couch ages ago. i still have a bunch of it left over. it wasn't quite deep enough so i put scrap pieces foam board on the back. i could have put the foam core on top but it wasn't cutting as smoothly on the edges.
Here's a (rough) mockup of my first doll to come.
I can't post pictures of her as she still doesn't even exists.
I've ordered her a couple days ago, from bobobie and dollzone (info about the parts at the bottom), and as I can't wait to see her, I grabbed pictures of the parts and made a fast mockup so I could see how she'll look like.
She's a Mei doll, 1/4 size. White face with faceup included. Still nameless, we have almost a month to think about names, but suggestions are always welcome.
She's gonna be my girlfriend's birthday present, but we decided the birthday is an excuse. She's a gift for both

So I made a quick mock-up about the colours Bubbles would be available in. He would be casted at Harus, in unique colors.
What I am not sure about is the unique mint tone or if offering a white skin would be a good idea.
What do you think?
