My introduction to Dorvack was in the late 1980s, with the old Gunze Sangyo plastic model kits of the power armor suits. These were 1/24 scale, and a much cheaper, but still nice, substitute purchase in lieu of the exotic and more expensive mixed-media 1/20 Nitto SF3D powered armor suit kits of the time.

 

The Dorvack Powered Armor had a particularly bulbuous look to them, maybe inspired by the real-life JIM diving suit?

 

I do plan to make this LEGO model design with real bricks real soon.

... that it's not all about the wildlife :)
