To commemorate the release of the masterpiece documentary Babies, MEDL Mobile brings you The Babies Movie App.
In mid-April, Focus Features will release Babies to theaters nationwide. This groundbreaking documentary chronicles the day-to-day lives of four newborns from across the globe, as they go through the trials & tribulations of their first year in this world.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
The Babies Movie App helps parents remember all of the precious (sometimes forgettable) moments of their children's lives by capturing a memory of each child every single day.
Parents can take photos or video; categorize the entry with tags like Bath Time, In The Car or With Friends; add personal notes; even tag the entries with GPS to remember exactly where they were when something happened.
Saved entries can be viewed in a thumbnail timeline and can be shared with friends via Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, YouTube and E-mail.
The app tells you every day what day in your child's life it is (today is Day # 267...) and it even lets parents set a reminder so that they are prompted every day at the same time to remember to snap a quick shot or video.

Urdu Translator was created in MEDL Mobile’s App Incubator.
The idea was submitted by Aftab Amjad, a student of Accounting in Melbourne, Australia.
After searching extensively for an Urdu Dictionary app, the results were disappointing. From there, he decided to look into developing his own.
With the help of MEDL Mobile, Aftab developed the first English to Urdu Dictionary for the iPhone—a comprehensive database of over 24,000 words and phrases. His vision is to promote greater communication and learning among Urdu fluent people around the world. “It’s great for the Urdu community and it will especially help students.” –Aftab
Urdu Translator is easy and intuitive, with simple functionality and powerful potential.
TRANSLATE
Scroll through the alphabetized list of entries to browse and select the words or phrases you want translated. If you need a specific word, the search bar at the top will pinpoint exactly what you need.
FAVORITES
You can add as many entries to your favorites as you want, for more convenient reference.
This application is a useful and practical tool for anyone fluent, semi-fluent or just learning Urdu. Its appeal spans all ages, from Primary school youth to college students to working adults.
