These are two panoramics from my hike to Mt. Major yesterday. It's a very popular hike in New Hampshire. In the background you can see lake Winnipesaukee, as well as multiple islands. It was almost too hot for hiking yesterday.
My apology that these are captured by my mobile phone and therefore not DSLR quality.

A mobile photo from the south side of Easter Lake yesterday in Des Moines, Iowa.

I was standing at the water's edge taking pictures of trumpeter swans when I heard this beautiful tinkling sound coming from the shore. Every time a small wave would wash in it would cause these pieces of ice to hit together. it really sounded good, like a mobile.
comparing mobile phone auto night shot (6 sec. long expos. ) and Dslr manual (4 sec. L. expos. ),(both hand held no tripod) problem with DSLR, things look much brighter on its compact screen till you enlarge ( deceiving)
strangely wiith the phone camera, a speed boat passed while taking the shot but still captured no movement ,

Food seems to have a status that is perhaps the most important aspect of life here in Thailand. Almost anywhere that more than a handful of people are likely to gather has a food stall ready and waiting for hungry customers. Along the khlongs (canals) of Bangkok the motorbikes are replaced by small boats bringing the shop to the customer

So, I’m fresh (well actually still quite tired) from our visit to València, which I mentioned in my previous post, and went out every morning and most evenings, grabbing pictures. But as I knew I wouldn’t have time to do any editing whilst away I didn’t bother taking a laptop, which means that I have a busy time ahead trawling through, and processing the many, many images taken.
In the meantime though, here is an image shot and edited on my phone (a standard jpeg not even shot as raw). I had treated myself to the iPhone 17 Pro, just before going away, which is a significant upgrade to my previous 12 Pro.
This is the L'Àgora building on the science park, at sunrise, with the Assut de l'Or Bridge cutting across in front of it, both of which are being reflected in the pool in the foreground.
I was wanting somebody, either walking or cycling through under the bridge to add an extra element. Thankfully I didn’t had to wait a too long as this is a fairly busy thoroughfare.
