Montreux Oberland Bernois [MOB] Class ABDe 8/8 4004 'Fribourg' was allocated to work the penultimate Regional service of the day to Zweisimmen, R2240 the 21:11 ex-Montreux.

The two boats to the right are lifeboats and are also used as ship-to-shore tenders at ports that do not have docks suitable for cruise ships.
The smaller craft to the left is the designated Man Overboard rescue craft. There is a designated response team on duty at all times. In the event of someone falling overboard, the ship reduces power and slows to a gentle stop while the much faster and more nimble rescue craft responds to emergencies.
