Auf der Seebrücke in Bad Heiligendamm haben sich die Möven niedergelassen. Wir hatten gerade einen Becher mit Erdbeeren gekauft und eine auf das Geländer gelegt. Die Möve zeigte keine Scheu, sie nahm die Erdbeere und verspeiste sie sehr genüsslich.

The seagulls have settled on the pier in Bad Heiligendamm. We had just bought a cup of strawberries and placed one on the railing. The seagull showed no shyness, it took the strawberry and ate it very gleefully.

Les mouettes se sont installées sur la jetée de Bad Heiligendamm. Nous venions d'acheter une coupe de fraises et en avons placé une sur la balustrade. La mouette n'a montré aucune timidité, elle a pris la fraise et l'a mangée très gaiement.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Breezy. Often a gentle breeze is something pleasant. In this case, what started out as a soft breeze turned out to be the future leaving a clue of a forthcoming storm with record-breaking rain in our area. It's over now and the sun is shining, but there are a few snapped tree branches still to clean up.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Very Peri - Pantone's Color of the Year for 2022. It is one of those colors that works well in the background or in the shadows as it symbiotically brings out the beauty in other colors and other colors bring out the beauty in it. By itself, Very Peri is a calming color yet it has a slight bit of electricity in the right light. Who knows how 2022 will play out and I'm happy Pantone created Very Peri to take us forward.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Paired. Here is the outside of Sunrise Mall with the inside of Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights. This mall opened 50 years ago and is now slated to be torn down and rebuilt into something new. I'm not sure when they will start. In its heyday this mall would be packed with people and parking could be hard to find at times. The only original stores I saw left standing from 1972 to 2022 were JCPenney and See's Candies! HMMM!
