A mix of leafs from different trees I found on my yesterdays walking in the rain in the Dresden Heather. At a first glance I recognise oak, beech and maple. Do You see anything else ? A small ecosystem because when You make a really close look, You see many tiny insects sharing this new built living space.
Eine Mischung aus Blättern unterschiedlicher Bäume, die ich bei meinem gestrigen Regenspaziergang in der Dresdner Heide gefunden habe. Was ich auf den ersten Blick erkenne sind Eiche, Buche und Ahorn. Sehr Ihr noch was anderes ? Ein kleines Ökosystem, denn aus nächster Nähe betrachtet sieht man auch noch eine ganze Menge kleiner Insekten, die sich den neu geschaffenen Wohnraum teilen.

Here the Colorado River leaves the Lee's Ferry area and towards the Grand Canyon. The water went from clear to murky at the bend ... and part of the river was half clear.
Pulled out the ND filters to extend the shutter there with the flowing water past the debris and rocks.
This section of the river is technically in the Grand Canyon National Park per the sign that was there as I headed to the river bank.

Parking lot lighting that was far off shined down nicely on this anchored boat along the rock shoreline of Maine. Made for a nice mix against that blue hour sky over the ocean.
One type of Agave plant grows into a neighboring blue agave to create a flash of yellow in a seal of teal.

Some see the beaches and oceans as pretty places but fail to see all of its many parts of textures, sparkles, and colours...This is a mixed media piece of art I saw recently, which depicts many of those features!
Late evening sunlight spills down the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada spotlighting a grove of quaking aspens changing into their fall clothes.
Beyond the fall colors, the mix of trees growing along the edge of valley caught my eye. Mixed in and around the aspen grove appear to be Jeffrey pine trees. And in the upper left on the image, a large cottonwood joins the fall party.

La E464-670 in vecchia livrea, traina 6 carrozze Vivalto in nuova colorazione proveniente da Torino Porta Nuova e diretto ad Alessandria. Come spesso è accaduto in passato, quando c'è un cambio di livrea, spesso non si punta a comporre un treno omogeneo, ma si mettono le locomotive a caso così da avere delle composizioni così oppure viceversa, ovvero con la macchina nuova davanti e le carrozze in livrea XMPR al traino.

This is a view of Mono Lake from the less frequented North West side. This was taken last year in preparation for our Mountain High Workshop in the Eastern Sierra.
