For Halloween this year, the minions decided to be the good guys. So they went on a herculean exercise regime, developed super powers, then borrowed/stole some costumes from the other good guys and are set to save the world from the bad guys on Halloween night.
They want us to rest assured they have our backs.
They'll scour the night skies, plunge into the depths of dark, seek and destroy the marauding evil doers.
So if any heinous, stinkpot denizens come to your door, who you gonna call.

Happy Shocktober
This year for Shocktober the minions decided.....well Stuart and Bob decided....that they should be goofy faces but Kevin should be a ghost of his former self and go floating off to scare all the kiddies on Halloween
When they told Kevin their plan, he fainted.
They made him a ghost.

I've been sitting around reminiscing about the past and trying to figure out the future. Like every year there are happy and sad times, we ride the waves and hold on. I'm on the fence about whether I should keep going with my photo a day project, it consumes me and my attention. I think I am ready for some new challenges and changes but it is hard to stop so maybe it will be re-imagined. What changes are you making for the new year?

We finally saw light this morning and I couldn't resist shooting into it. My own worst instincts because it's so hard to edit but I had to post it and move on. Accepting the flaws but loving the light.
Seeing stars. Didn't get my image done early so I was trying to play with bokeh but really struggled because it was dark, I was lying on the ground and couldn't find focus. I used the flashlight from my phone as a spotlight on the minion and cut a bokeh filter with a paper punch. Happy Hanukkah!
These are erasers, if they had been on the go when I was at school, I would never have got any work done :)

Nom commun : Le coeur, le milieu d’un fruit ou d’un légume dont on a ôté tout ce qu’il y avait à manger. Par exemple trognon de pomme
Adjectif : (Familier) Trop mignon. (Pour désigner un petit enfant, un petit animal, ...)
On mélange les deux et hop , il est pas trognon ce "minion" ? ;-)

My awkward balancing act. Isn't life about keeping our balance? It's a yin/yang, work/play, dark/light thing. How do you keep balance in your life? I have tried meditation but thus far can't stick with it, I prefer exercise, photography and trying to learn piano. I wish I would have started piano earlier, my fingers are not quick or nimble so I have to accept that and try anyway. What new skills are you working on?
More snow play and some added texture today. It was lightly snowing but couldn't get the flakes captured.
