This is an early work of mine , taken with just a simple compact digital camera held up to the eyepiece of my telescope. Finally combined in Photoshop.
The "Heaven's Moor" is one of my favourite places to relax. Silence, from time to time interrupted from a geese or a duck, beautiful light. Thousands of dragonflies and other insects to explore.. always again so fascinating

An interesting effect with this water pattern on stainless steel kitchen sink...the light from a nearby window reflects blue off the stainless steel which makes it appear as if the blue side is the water

I thought perhaps minimalism might include an unobtrusive background. But no fairy lights, no bokeh balls. I’m out of my comfort zone, first trying *flat lay* yesterday.
Oh, well. Just experimenting. Trying not to blow out the highlights.

Boavista has a real desert; it is characterized by a clear sand mixed with grains of black rocks. The ocean winds carry immense volumes of sand continuously from the African continent, depositing them on the island of Boavista because of the shape of the terrain and the proximity to the Mainland. This creates real sand dunes
