I've been attempting to do a full minifig decal application, this is what I have so far. There are a few flaws but I am happy with it. I am useing clear waterslide paper and it hasnt been easy, I think I have gone through enough decals to make 5 of these. If it goes easier from here I will include the full torso with my custom green beret figs.
Every year the same. It's New Year, and in a blink of an eye it's Christmas again. Same every week. You read the theme for Macro Mondays on Tuesday, and just five minutes later, while you're still trying to come up with some idea, it's Monday again.
This is for the red and green theme on MM, and already tomorrow's door in my Advent Calendar. No-one told me yesterday that it's going to be Monday again so soon!
For those who don't follow me on a daily basis: This is my take on an Advent Calendar - opening 24 doors in my Lego City.
Toy Project Day 3435 (tomorrow)
Whilst enjoying the excesses of the holiday season poor Pooch's owner had neglected to take him on the long winter walks Pooch so enjoys.
oh fun table scrap
sorry I'm so inactive, haven't lost interest in lego whatsoever, just have been very busy.

The idea to this Rover isn't new, I've built something similar three years ago. This time I've tried to make every single wagon monochrome, due to the parts in my stash these are the old Legoland colours - and grey. Only six waggons on the seventh? Okay, add a bunt(*) one.
The figure on that last wagon looks slightly familiar, but I've never seen Ben smile before, so I'm not sure.
(*) bunt doesn't translate well. It means as much as colourful, but with many different colours.

The Clumsy guy was taking an evening "walk" (or "crutch") but he failed to notice that the janitor had freshly mopped the sidewalks. Although he slipped and fell, he was lucky and did not sustain any new injuries :-)
...uhmm, Chopin, what exactly am I?
Braaains!
Yes, I'm a scientist, you can trust my judgement! We've done this... done this...
Ouuuhhhhns.
...once. Yeah, and it even worked. So give me your ugly, pink hand and get a nearly new in purple.

Another little goodie from Dianne: a pair of hands in dark purple, fitting for the Alien Spaceman from the latest CMF series.

Hope you like it.
The Disney "100" CMF series includes some odd parts. And by Odd I mean Cursed, Minifig parts. Or possibly Blursed, depending how you look at it.
Like Pinocchio's nose.
Which answers the question, What if Minifigs had noses?

Of the new Disney Series, there's only a few minifigs that I wanted - Ariel is one of them :-)
I think LEGO did a great job with this minifig. I really like her hairpiece and the printing on her face is very clean (that makes her easy to photograph). Hopefully I can photograph some of the other minifigs soon :-)
Executive Ellen went to the dentist for a routine cleaning but found out that she needed more extensive work. Normally she doesn't flinch at dental work but Ellen has already had many uncomfortable issues and doctors appointments over the last couple months and she's getting frustrated.
She still didn't want to put down her coffee cup though :-)
The dentist's office is from the new Assembly Square set.....
I've been busy the last few weeks (work) and I haven't had much time for photos. Apparently while I've been frantically working, my minifigs decided to build an active volcano on my kitchen table :-) Last night I found the new female Volcano Scientist photographing the lava. I hope they clean up the mess :-)
I'm trying to get back into the swing of taking pictures especially since the Olympics are starting today :-)
Every night, when I get up to get a glass of water, I find the Janitor quietly mopping all the floors and cleaning all the sidewalks in Lynn's LEGO City. I'm thinking of buying more of this minifig and placing them all around the house. Then maybe all my floors will be clean in the morning? :-)
The new Hiker minifig set out for a long hike this morning. He asked me if I wanted to go but I declined (I've never been fond of hiking) :-)
I spotted Lisa leaving the Brick Bank with some paperwork. Hopefully she got a loan to pay for all those Bricklink orders :-)
I've never watched Ninjago but I fell in love with the architecture of the "Temple of Airjitzu" so I got the set last month during double VIP points. I was thrilled to discover female Ninja minifig, Nya, in the set so I took her portrait in the Ninja Training room.

Now that our old house is sold, I have the time (and mental energy) to watch the new TFA trailer over and over again :-) I'm very excited for the movie!
I know this isn't the same type of gun that she's holding in the trailer. I'm fairly sure that I don't have a minifig gun that resembles what she's using in the movie.
I got one of the decals applied, mainly to see how it would turn out useing clear waterslide decal paper. I think it worked out pretty good, the colors darkened a little bit but still very good. The minifig is equiped with a brickforge gunbelt and brickarms weapons.
The second design that I am thinking of offering, listed with images of the brickarms that I want offer. Not listed is a brickforge gun holster for the combat knife. Torso design is photo shopped.
These are the minifigs from the "Thanksgiving Feast" (40123). Notice anything strange? They both have grey hair but their eyebrows and beard (for him) aren't grey. I was tempted to change the heads but I really wanted to show the minifigs as they came in the set. Maybe it's normal to have mismatched hair in LEGO City? :-)
Sensei Wu and Misako enjoy some morning tea in the Temple of Arijitzu. From the little bit I've read online about Ninjago, it sounds like their relationship is complicated but I'm going to put them in the "Cute Couple" category anyway :-)
The LEGO Gymnasts, Rebecca and Beth, decide that they aren't breaking their New Year's Resolutions if the pizza has vegetable toppings :-)
Happy New Year to everyone on Flickr! 2016 was definitely a tough year but I'm hopeful that 2017 will be better.
P.S. I got so hungry while taking this photo that we ordered a pizza :-)
The third design that I am thinking of offering, listed with images of the brickarms that I want offer. Not listed is a brickforge gun holster for the combat knife. Torso design is photo shopped.
This is my final build from Brickfair. As with most of my recent builds, I started with the figure first and then came up with the build. I considered doing a basic minifig smiley face as the picture, and I planned to make the build bigger, but both of those things fell through as I had new ideas and ran low on time. I'm really happy with how this turned out though. It's a concise frame for a cool piece of graffiti.
There's plenty for the both of us, may the best Dwarf win!
Minifigs are not my specialty by any means, so getting the posing right on these was certainly a worthy challenge for me.
Hope you enjoy this next vignette of our series! If you haven't seen the first books yet make sure to check the profiles listed down below.

Built for the TBB Ninjago City collaboration at BrickCon 2018. The original set is one of my favorites of all time, and I had a lot of fun building a tribute. This tiny urban seaside park harbors a grand pagoda built over a sea cave. There is a flower market in the canal, and the levels above include a teahouse, maritime supply store, eel stand, cafe, and mini mart. All have full interiors.
For all photos see the album.
I know treasure is more of a pirates kind of thing, but I found these old sets from childhood while cleaning in my grandparents basement. I thought they were long gone, but they'd been sitting high on some old shelves for years. Couldn't believe it!
The parts are pretty dusty, but can be washed for the most part. The boxes are in decent shape, and the instructions and promotional material are emaculate. Man, I should clean more often!
for the current campaign of the Nine Kingdoms RPG on RogueBricks.
This was my first time building rocks, but I am quite happy with the result. Just the positioning of the minifig was nerve-racking, because it slipped down all the time.

It took me several tries over many days to get a portrait of the Postman that I liked. I wanted it to look like he was out delivering mail when I took the shot :-)
I've finally caught up on Ninjago - we watched Season 5 recently. I now realize that the Temple of Airjitzu isn't featured in the story as much as I thought it would be but it's still an awesome set and fun to use for photos.
On Fridays the butcher in Muxall opens his shop (Hofladen), a green grocer adds to the range of goods - my favourite place to go shopping. This week an ice waggon showed up, but he didn't want to sell me something, because my money was too big and clunky.
Toy Project Day 1366
When the King married in the Spring, the entire kingdom rejoiced. By the first Winter rumors began to spread of strange goings on in the castle, and in the Summer the King took ill. The laws changed, enforced vigilantly by the common soldiers of the King at the goad of a monstrous knight.
Inside the castle a new order reigned, enforced by ghostly wizard duo, a hollow suit of armor with an executioner's blade, and the Queen's axe most of all.
This is my entry for Brickscalibur's Monarchic Minifig Category.

Thought I’d do an extra post to show off the minifigs and crates used in my recent Mimban MOC. As I mentioned in the video I posted, the Mudtroopers use TMC heads that work perfectly to catch the looks and emotions of soldiers on the field. Blasters used by all them are from BA which includes some DC-15, E-11 and DC-17 blasters. For the ranking officer, I used the head from Jor El and the body/cape from Captain Beckett. The scout trooper uses the design I saw my friend Luca use for one of his MOCs. Crates use simple pieces like the printed imperial dish attached to the 1x1 Modified Brick with Stud on one Side. Lastly, the 74-Z speeder bike. I used some design elements from Luca and others online to make my own. In the future, I’ll be making a video step by step instruction on how to make it. Let me know if you’d like to see extra posts like these with my MOCs and if I missed something, tell me below. Thank you for reading.
If you like this build, consider tapping the fave button ever so slightly and if you’re feeling like doing a bit extra, follow me here. Thanks!
