644 little squares!

Minecraft Survival Games, Minecraft is a sandbox construction game created by Mojang AB founder Markus Persson, and inspired by the Infiniminer, Dwarf Fortress and Dungeon Keeper games. Gameplay involves players interacting with the game world by placing and breaking various types of blocks in a three-dimensional environment. In this environment, players can build creative structures, creations, and artwork on multiplayer servers and singleplayer worlds across multiple game modes. The Minecraft Crafting Table built from LEGO bricks.

For those who don't know, Minecraft is like a cross between Second life and lego. Be warned: It's very addictive!

In celebration for BrickCon 2013 theme Pigs vs Cows, I created the cow to go along with my Minecraft pig

Just to show what I've been doing for the past couple months, Minecraft!!!!!

Getting lost in the woods at night in Minecraft is fun, but the fun in that was running from hordes of skeletons. These guys are one of my favorite parts of Minecraft.

I always liked the Lego-mini-sets, but in my opinion, they are too expensive. So I build my own one. Its a Mountain Biome with an Enderman and a Ender Portal

Twin sized bed quilt for my 13 year old son based on his favourite computer game: Minecraft! Made from Kona cotton solids. Ikea sheet for backing. Completed September 2011.

My son had the idea to stitch three buttons, red, yellow and green, on the upper left corner of the grey binding (which he asked me to make wider at the top) to resemble a window on his Mac computer. I will do that soon! And label the quilt, too.

LEGO Minecraft is an underestimated theme. I've long been a fan of the game and the theme, and the style translates perfectly into LEGO bricks. Since the mini figure scale sets first made their way onto shelves, I've been collecting the fun figures and mobs, and I've accumulated quite a collection of critters and Steves and Alexes. So, in the few spare weekends I can get away from school to my home and collection, I've been working on a display to house all these figurines in style. What started small has grown into a 64x64 stud layout, complete with play features inspired by Minecraft sets. The final display is waiting on one last Bricklink order to arrive and a visit home to complete, but I couldn't help but share these very recognizable village structures that will be part of the display. While they're nothing mind-boggling (no crazy techniques here), I hope they'll help you appreciate the beauty that can be found in the simplicity of this style.

Using a Nikon FM2n with Kodak Tri-X 400 and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. A joy to shoot with. Here a difficult shoot with a heavily overexposed bit to the left (sunlight) and underexposed part to the right. The built in light meter is a great helper.
