Again. The actual processing plant stayed pretty much the same, but I redid the Sorting System. Sadly I can't stack chests anymore but now I have the Logistics Pipes Add-On for BuildCraft, I was able to place a Provider Pipe under every chest which then feeds into a bunch of automatic crafting tables. Combined with a Request Pipe I can "order" certain items which are then automatically crafted. I got the idea from Direwolf20 when skimming through his Let's Play.
Minecraft cake made for a joint sister's 9th & 13th birthday. Cake is marble flavored. All the cake toppers are hand sculpted fondant or modeling chocolate.

Here is the initial sketch. The actual quilt follows this pretty closely. It's a blessing that Minecraft has this primitive digital, 8-bit look and feel, which translates so nicely to little blocks of fabric. Each square on the grid measures 3"x3". Based on counting squares of various colors, I purchased a variety of Kona cottons.
Realizing how time-consuming the mooshroom would be to piece, I decided to keep the sky and grass fairly simple.
I teleported my Minecraft Avatar from the game to real life =)
This photo was pretty easy to make, the only trick was to get an image of my Minecraft Avatar/Skin with high quality (it is very aliased in the game) so I used a very nice application called "Minecraft Skin Viewer" to save an image of my avatar/skin with transparent background with anti-aliasing on, you can get it from the Minecraft Forums here: www.minecraftforum.net/topic/274120-net-minecraft-skin-vi...
All I had to do next was to add it as a layer on top of the background layer, then copy the tip on my fingers into a new layer on top of the avatar, then blur the edges a bit to make it blend well and that's it :)
