This is a model of a house I used to live in during my studies together with four flatmates. I tried to make the model as accurate as possible in Minecraft, which was difficult due to the weird trapezoid shape of the building. Its meant as a surprise present for one of my flatmates, so psssst, don't tell her yet. ;)
The model was exported with the free tool Mineways, and printed on a Zprinter 650 color 3d printer.

So cute, bird’s-eye view of a house in Minecraft that was custom made for me by L. who is just 10 years old. It has a library, a swimming pool, a lava incinerator (?) - L. says "just use this if you need to throw away something" - and even a parrot on a leash.
I have made the main chamber deeper, added water above some places so that it appears to have water dripping from the ceiling, and have put more time into putting detail on the walls. I decided to have the right tunnel to be collapsed because It would take a lot, of work to make both tunnels, and it also emphasizes the age and condition of the tunnels. I have thought about making the collapse come out of the mouth of the chamber, but I don't know if that would look better. I am eventually going to make the main chamber empty out into a large dome shaped room that will hold the portal. I have some ideas on how I want it to look, but I don't know how exactly I'm going to construct it. I have thought about making the walls of the main chamber one block deeper so that I can ad bands that act as support columns every so many blocks, but I don't know if it will look good, feel free to leave comments and feedback.

Kiama Library was operating in creative mode on Monday 20th January 2014, amongst creepers, slimes, zombies, spiders and skeletons!
Young people aged 8 to 18 years were invited to join the fun at a long awaited Minecraft gaming event.
Kiama Library had upgraded their public computers and there was no better way to showcase improved hardware than a Minecraft Gaming Night.
Pizza and snacks were served on the night. You had to have your own official Minecraft account to play. Our PlayStation 3’s were also set-up on the night if you wanted to have a quick race of Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed.

The mushroom farm in in my DF-inspired Minecraft fort. It also contains the redstone mechanisms that operate the lava trap on the main entrance.

This lava mob was based from one of YouTube's famous MINECRAFT players, he is also known from one of Bajan Canadian's crew
Oh No I hope Steve doesn't think these are like the chicken in the game! Or there will be nothing but feathers and uncooked chicken lying around.
If you don't know what Minecraft is then craw out from under that rock....HAHA JUST KIDDING! But in seriousness it is a computer / gaming console game that is really big with elementary school kids right now. Also some adults are really into it as well. Being that you can create a world of whatever you want.....and that my friends makes it addictive for anyone who has a creative mind! All 3 of us are hooked!!!! We bought it on our Playstation 3 a month ago......but Don't worry we do venture outside for some Vitamin D (loving this weather!) LOL
Minecraft 'Creeper' cupcakes made for my little cousins sleepover with his friends who play Minecraft all the time. I got the idea from the site below. The only difference is I used candy paper instead of fruit leather because it was easier for me to work with. Thanks CandyBarCupcakes!! What a great idea!

I hosted a Bionicle building collab where we suggested various Lego themes to cross breed with Bionicle, and then I used a randomizer to select which theme each builder got. I rolled MINECRAFT which was perfect! I love Minecraft. I decided to use all my saved up 2007 glowy parts to make the Minecraft Glow squid!
This was modelled after a few different cakes in the google image search for Minecraft Cake.
The cake used 4 packets of chocolate cake mix and three rounds of buttercream icing. Two rounds were made with cocoa, one round with green food colouring. For the extra 'dirty' look I added crushed oreos to the brown buttercream mix.
