back at college which means im back in the studio!
today we were to create a set building photoshot everybody come up with there own ideas......everyone of them could fit inside a shoe box!
teamed up with my friend amber to create a minecraft dungeon, being the gamers we are!
doesnt look like much but it had taken us a long while to make.
(wish i had the funding of gregory crewdson) :P

I wanted to create a true slice of Minecraft, with the land sitting on top of the caves below. At the same time it needed to be play friendly and not just a behmouth display piece. Using my Niece and Nephew, both under 10, for extensive playtesting made sure it's both fun and robost. Keeping it 32x32 studs wide enabled the clever opening design.

My skyscraper. Once Minecraft gets the update that we can go up to 300 blocks height, I'll so be making this higher.

Kiama Library was operating in creative mode on Monday 20th January 2014, amongst creepers, slimes, zombies, spiders and skeletons!
Young people aged 8 to 18 years were invited to join the fun at a long awaited Minecraft gaming event.
Kiama Library had upgraded their public computers and there was no better way to showcase improved hardware than a Minecraft Gaming Night.
Pizza and snacks were served on the night. You had to have your own official Minecraft account to play. Our PlayStation 3’s were also set-up on the night if you wanted to have a quick race of Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed.
I took the average of over 50 Minecraft screenshots. This is what Picasa gave me.
I particularly like how well the HUD stands out. This almost makes it look like you're playing the game in some eerie fog.

On Tuesday we went to LEGOland Windsor! Sadly it was pouring rain the whole time and we only got to go on one ride. :( But on the bright side I bought LEGO Minecraft micro-world, and two old unglued lego magnet sets! This pic was taken at the Star Wars store in LEGOland.
